Passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on Monday, July 16th,
2007. Roy Kenneth
JACOBS was born in Milverton on November 30,
1935 to the late Roy Peter
JACOBS and Jane Eliza
(BLAIR) and
was raised on the family farm. He was a loving husband for 33 years
to his wife
Joan
(SHAW) and he is survived by his daughters,
Janet JACOBS and Cindy (Calvin)
EHGOETZ and their mother Audrey
QUAST. Cherished grandfather of Candace and Nicole
EHGOETZ.

Ken will be sadly missed by his nieces
and nephews and extended family and Friends. Ken moved to Stratford
as a young man and served 35 years with the Stratford P.U.C.
Ken and Joan retired to Durham, “God's Country”, in 1992 so he
could build their dream home, Leatherwood Ranch, and do all the
things he loved. His love of the outdoors and wildlife was reflected
in all his wood carvings, leatherwork and the numerous things
he created. He was an active member of the Ontario Federation
of Anglers and Hunters, South Grey Hunters Association, Ducks
Unlimited and the Royal Canadian Legion in Durham. He was so
proud of recently shooting his 1st wild turkey! A Celebration
of Ken's life will be held at his home, Leatherwood Ranch (R.R.#4
Durham, 303400 Southline), on Sunday, July 22nd at 2 p.m. As
an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ontario
Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the charity of your choice
would be appreciated by the family and may be made by calling
