Passed away after a courageous and well fought battle with Emphysema
at Laurentian Hospital in Sudbury on June 20, 2007.
John was born in Ukraine on April 4, 1904, in the Village of
Werchrata, Rawaruska District Halychyna,
son of the late Petro
YUSKEWICH and Anne
(HUK.)
He was predeceased by his sister Maria
SMUT, cousins Doris
GUAY
and Polly CZEREWKO.
John came to Canada in 1948 to Wishart, Saskatchewan, sponsored
by Fred G. Bzdel. He went to Winnipeg in 1949 to his aunt Julie
TYPA, where he worked for the C.N.R. In 1950 he moved to Sudbury
where he worked for Inco in the mines and smelter until his retirement
in 1984. At the mine he was known by his fellow workers as "Fur
Coat Johnny".
John is survived by his nephew Michael

Nicole. Helen's many Friends will miss her at the bridge table,
on the golf course (delivering those much needed golf tips),
receiving her garage sale finds and the great food she prepared
over these many years for her family and Friends. Born and raised
in Toronto, Helen attended Harbord Collegiate and in 1953, Helen
completed her training as a Registered Nurse at Saint Michael's
Hospital and nursed until 1958 when her youngest daughter was
born after which Helen devoted her life to her family. Friends
may call at the Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks
south of Lawrence), on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday,
November 24, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, at 11: 00 a.m.,
located at 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto, Ontario (2 blocks south
of Lawrence off Yonge Street). Helen will be laid to rest with
her beloved husband William at Mount Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine
Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family would
appreciate donations to be sent in the memory of Helen

Marian WIACEK, peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on
Sunday, November 11, 2007. Beloved
son of the late Joseph and
Mary WIACEK; dear brother of Doctor Wilhelmina

WIACEK; predeceased by brothers Edmund,
Theodore and Adolphe, and sisters Stephanie

and Kay WIACEK. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews
and Friends. Joseph was in the first graduating class of the
Brantford Catholic High School (presently Saint_John's College).
He attended Saint Michael's College, University of Toronto, and
subsequently graduated as a gold medalist from Osgood Hall Law
School in 1953. He was a partner at Trepanier, Hagey, Kneale
and Wiacek and most recently Counsel to the law firm of Trepanier
Verity. Joseph served as president and secretary of the Brant
Law Association, president of the Brant County Legal Aid Committee,
a member of the Brantford Committee of Adjustment, president
of the Optimist Club of Brantford, secretary of the Brantford
Downtown Association, president of the Board of Governors of
Saint_John's College, president of Saint_Joseph's Hospital Foundation,
and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of Saint_Joseph's
Parish since its foundation and served as a Trustee of the Saint_Joseph's
Parish Memorial Scholarship Fund. He was also a dedicated member
of the Saint_Joseph's Parish Choir, and an ardent supporter of
the musical life of Brantford. The family will receive Friends
at the "Thorpe Brothers' Funeral Home and Chapel", 96 West Street,
on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. with Catholic Women's League Rosary
at 3 p.m. and Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at Saint_Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant
Avenue, on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. followed by
interment at Saint_Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Saint_Joseph's
Memorial Scholarship Fund, Saint_Joseph's Lifecare Centre or to
