McCANSE, Donald Roy
Suddenly at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Carol. Loving father of Don (Suzanne) of Ottawa, Ken (Cathy) of Toronto, and Stephen (Jennifer) of Toronto. Montana, Derek and Spencer will truly miss their adored Granddad. Also sadly missed by dearest cousin Nancy and her husband Gordon DOOLEY. Don was a McGill University graduate and committed professional with communications company Maclean Hunter for over 30 years. An avid golfer and Past President of Markland Wood Golf and Country Club, he was a passionate promoter of junior golf for 47 years, also generously volunteering with the Golf Association of Ontario. Visitation at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.

BEATON, Mary Helen " Peggie" (née COWAN)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Peggie BEATON on Wednesday, Novemer 28th, 2007 at Baycrest Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Wallace, this past July at their summer home Murray Bay, Quebec. Peggie leaves behind her daughters Belinda of Oxford, England, Tisha of Toronto, and her son Graham (Sylvie TASSÉ) of Dunrobin, Ontario, and her grand_son Alexandre. Born in Montreal in 1918, Peggie was the daughter of the late William Graham COWAN and Mary Helen DOOLEY. She was predeceased by her sister Jaqueline Rose (Reginald) JONES. Peggy was educated by the Madams of the Sacret Heart in Montreal and worked in the non-profit sector of business until her marriage to Wallie in 1954. Throughout her life, mother was active in volunteer work with the Red Cross, the Cancer Society, and the Chancel Guilds of both Christ Church and The Murray Bay Protestant Church. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 3rd at Christ Church Anglican, 8045 Islington Ave., Woodbridge, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Doctor Joan Murphy's Research at Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated.

Peacefully in Fairview Manor, Almonte following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 Erich KADOKE of Almonte formerly of Oakville and Toronto, age 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Irmgard KALISCH. Dear loved father of Ingrid (Fraser SCANTLEBURY) of Almonte and George KADOKE (Traudy) of Haliburton. Loved Opa of Heidi KADOKE and Craig (Ellen) KADOKE, Emily and Sebastian KADOKE- SCANTLEBURY as well as Rebecca DOOLITTLE, great-grandfather to Matthew and Sarah. Predeceased by two brothers. A graveside Service for family and Friends will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the C.R. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of Hy. Cherished daughter of Pauline and the late Jack BORENSTEIN. Loving mother and mother-in-law of David and San YEE, Michael and Jennifer and Julie. Peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, January 10th, 2007, Jan EGBERS passed away in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Martina Johanna (DOOSJE) EGBERS. Dear father of Tina BAKER of London, Rei EGBERS and his wife Kate Kelly of Annagance, New Brunswick, John EGBERS and his wife Amy of London. Dear grandfather of Jennifer BAKER of London, Paul EGBERS and Julie JEMEC of Bayfield, Colin EGBERS of Alberta, Reed and Adrian EGBERS of Halifax, and great-grandfather of Joab and Kai EGBERS of Bayfield. Also survived by one brother Reind EGBERS and his wife Nel of Holland. Predeceased by his brother Bertus EGBERS and his grand_son Chris BAKER. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the A.
