In loving memory of George Archie "Waabaankwad" (Paul) WAHSQUONAIKEZHIK, August 3, 1931 - December 19, 2006.
Waabaankwad of South Bay (Wikwemikong) passed away at the Plummer Hospital in Sault Sainte Marie in his 75th year.
Loving son of Margaret and John (Paul) WAHSQUONAIKEZHIK, both predeceased. Dear stepson of Daniel and Julia WEMIGWANS. Loving father of Viola (late Frederick) RECOLLET of Sault Sainte Marie and Robert MADAHBEE of Ottawa. Beloved grandfather to Holly (Albert,) Tracey (Jamie), Crystal and Rheal. Great grandfather to Chelsey, Eva-Marie, Hayden and Wassnodeh. Dear brother to Theresa HASWOOD (Tully) of Rock Springs, New Mexico, Christina SINOBERT (Cecil) of Sagamok, Bernadette RECOLLET (Stanley, predeceased) of Wikwemikong, Josette WAHSQUONAIKEZHIK (Brad) of Sudbury, Jean DEBASSIGE of Sudbury, Ernest (Annette) of Keshena, Wisconsin, Gabriel of Birch Island, Francis (Beverly) of Sault Sainte Marie, Luke (Tara) of Fort Alexander, Manitoba, Christopher of Sudbury, Thaddius LAVALLEE of Wikwemikong, Tina McCURLEY (Ken) of Birch Island. Predeceased by siblings Rita, Annette, Bertha, Celina, Patricia, Ida, Joseph Louie and Adam. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, adopted and step-family members, extended family throughout the pow wow circle, Friends. Archie enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball, step dancing, joking and story telling. Archie attended numerous pow wows, carrying the Veterans Staff. Archie served in WW2 and the Korean War. Rested at South Bay Community Centre from 7 pm, Thursday, December 21, 2006 until the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 11 am. Burial in Veterans Cemetery.

Adam John ROY
In loving memory of Adam John ROY, January 10, 1934 - December 25, 2006.
Adam ROY, a resident of M'Chigeeng, died at the Laurentian Hospital, Sudbury on Monday, December 25, 2006 at the age of 72 years.
He was born in M'Chigeeng, son of the late John and Mary (DEBASSIGE) ROY. He had worked as a miner for 30 years in Wawa. Adam loved carpentry work, enjoyed gardening with his Friends, playing cribbage, horseshoes and his sauna. His greatest pleasure was making maple syrup and spending time in the sugar bush. Adam was predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Loved and loving father of Russell G. MIGWANS (predeceased June 23, 2005,) Leland, Chris BEBONANG and Adam ROY Junior, wife Rebecca all of M'Chigeeng, Larry, wife Jo-Ann of Kitchener and daughter Lillian ROY, friend Rick of Sudbury. Proud grandfather of Brooke, Russell Junior, Brandi, (friend Scott,) Allison, (friend Christian,) Tyler, Adam ROY III, Terri and Connie ROY and Sage EPP. And 3 great grandchildren Angelina, Josua and Keewaydin. Special father of Fred, Joey, Clyde, Lorraine and Sylvia MIGWANS and Rhoda EPP. Dear brother of Pius ROY, Justin ROY, Henrietta McKERCHIE and Irene CORBIERE. Predeceased by brothers Sylvester and Jacob and sisters Louise and Christine. Eternal friend of Ken MIGWANS, Ed DEBASSIGE, Bill SWANSON, Maxie SIMON and Bert COUSINEAU. Also will be
missed by several nieces and nephews. Friends called at the M'Chigeeng
Complex on Thursday and Friday. The funeral mass was celebrated at
Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, December 30 at 11.00 a.m. With

Predeceased by her husband Donald Ian MALCOLM, sisters and brothers-in-law Mary ROGERS and David, Jane COLE and John, Agnes UPPER, nephews John Fordyce Cooper COLE and Michael Jonathan GEE. Survived by her son Nicholas and his wife Kathleen DONNELLY, and their children Una, Wyllie and Finlay, daughter Micheline DEBERARDINE and her husband Roger, and their children James, Maggie and Robert, twin sister Margaret STRICKLAND, brother-in law Bruce UPPER, and her cousins Beverley ARMSTRONG and Jean Hills FLEMING/FLEMMING. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, Friends and employees. She loved her family, her gardens and travelling. Judy will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and support of Runnymede Hospital. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 9 Burnhamthorpe Park Blvd, Toronto. Beloved wife of Geoffrey WYNN and dear mother of David WYNN (Carolyn) and Elizabeth WYNN (Larry NEIL) of Sandhurst. Grandmother of Angie EUNSON (Peter) of Toronto; James WYNN (Sarah) of Kingston; Steven WYNN of Sandhurst Jessie WYNN of Ottawa; Connor NEIL and Carlee NEIL. Sister of Ruth HOOD of Toronto. A private family service was held at St. Alban's Church, Adolphustown on Thursday, December 20 with interment in St. Alban's Cemetery. Of Hope Ness passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in her 70th year. Cherished mother of Shelley DEBOK and her husband Tony of Owen Sound, Kathryn GREIG and her friend Mike PORTER of Owen Sound and Chuck GREIG of Vancouver, British Columbia. Cherished Oma of Dana, Justin, Jade and Dalton DEBOK and Spencer, Kaitlyn and Lily GREIG. She will be sadly missed by her mother Laura HAHN of Wiarton, sister Brenda (Barry) GILBERT of Wiarton and sisters-in-law Alice (Bill) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Marg HAHN, Beatrice PRUDER and Leona GREIG. Helen was predeceased by her husband Bev, daughter Susan in infancy, father George HAHN and brother Norman HAHN. The family will receive Friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's head on Friday, October 19, 2007 from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Helen's life will be held at the Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's head on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. DEBONO, Francis Carmel
Died peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on August 26, 2007 at the age of 77. An electrician, he immigrated from Malta in 1952, and married Rena in 1961. With four sons, they built a life based on love, faith, and a dedication to hard work. Francis was generous in all things. Retiring at age 63, he endured many health setbacks including Parkinsons, but faced them courageously with the support of family and Friends. Francis will be sadly missed by all, especially his wife Rena (née SAMMUT,) sons Reno (Linda,) Angelo (Dorothy,) David (Josephine) and Christopher (Susannah.) and grandchildren Daniel, Adam, Alyssa and Alex. Brother to Sam, Carmena, Maria, Helen and predeceased by Joseph, Felicia, and Catherine. Friends and family are invited to the Lynett Funeral Home (416-767-1176) at 3299 Dundas St. W (one block east of Runnymede Rd.) COUILLARD, John Kenney "Jack" (October 31, 1919-June 9, 2007)
It is with great sadness that the family announces his death at age 87 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. He died with his cherished wife of 55 years, Betty, holding his hand. Proud father of Sue (Peter CLARKE), Ken (Meris ROGNVALDSON), Jane (Rick RUDDOCK) and John (Therese DEBRUYN) and loving grandfather to Christine and Linda CLARKE, Ben and Julia COUILLARD, Eli and Ethan RUDDOCK and step-grand_son Alex BERNIER. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Nancy COOK, his brother, Paul COUILLARD, and his many nieces and nephews.
Jack served with the Royal Canadian Engineers for the duration of the Second World War. Afterwards, he was employed as Town Clerk of Niagara-on-the-Lake before moving on to executive positions with the Canadian Wine Institute and the Ontario Liquor Board. After retiring from the Liquor Board, he started his own business, Couillard Consulting Service. He had a wide variety of interests, from the recreational (Minor Baseball in Don Mills) to service with Dixon Hall, a downtown Toronto inner-city community centre, and was a Charter Governor of the Shaw Festival as well as a member of the board of the North York Symphony. After retiring to Niagara-on-the-Lake, he was active in the Ulyssean Society and the Niagara Foundation. He also served on the boards of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Saint Marks Presbyterian Church in Don Mills. Friends are invited to join us in celebrating his life on June 14, 2007 from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. at the family home, at 427 Simcoe Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, following a private family service.
Jack had a special concern for disadvantaged children. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sleeping Children Around the World, or to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Also survived by sister Phyllis Irene ELLIS of London. Predeceased by her parents Percy and Myrtle TAILOR/TAYLOR, sisters Jean WADSWORTH, Marjorie FELLOWES, Patricia LONGMORE and infant granddaughter Sarah LOGAN. Missed by her nieces and nephews, Ian and Margaret, Neil and Lisa, Allison, and Ann and Chris. Predeceased by her father Doctor John MILNE and her mother Rhena (née CAMPBELL.) Genevieve worked for many years as an Occupational Therapist in Psychiatry at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Services Owen Sound.
