pow wow circle, Friends. Archie enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing
baseball, step dancing, joking and story telling. Archie attended
numerous pow wows, carrying the Veterans Staff. Archie served in WW2 and the
Korean War. Rested at South Bay Community Centre from 7 pm,
Thursday, December 21, 2006 until the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December
23, 2006 at 11 am. Burial in Veterans Cemetery.

Adam ROY, a resident of M'Chigeeng, died at the Laurentian Hospital,
Sudbury on Monday, December 25, 2006 at the age of 72 years.
He was born in M'Chigeeng,
son of the late John and Mary
(DEBASSIGE)
ROY. He had worked as a
miner for 30 years in Wawa. Adam loved carpentry work, enjoyed gardening with his Friends,
playing cribbage, horseshoes and his sauna. His greatest pleasure was making maple syrup
and spending time in the sugar bush. Adam was predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Loved and
loving father of Russell G.

Died peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on August 26, 2007 at
the age of 77. An electrician, he immigrated from Malta in 1952,
and married Rena in 1961. With four sons, they built a life based
on love, faith, and a dedication to hard work. Francis was generous
in all things. Retiring at age 63, he endured many health setbacks
including Parkinsons, but faced them courageously with the support
of family and Friends. Francis will be sadly missed by all, especially
his wife Rena (née

David (Josephine) and Christopher (Susannah.) and grandchildren

of the Second World War. Afterwards, he was employed as Town
Clerk of Niagara-on-the-Lake before moving on to executive positions
with the Canadian Wine Institute and the Ontario Liquor Board.
After retiring from the Liquor Board, he started his own business,
Couillard Consulting Service. He had a wide variety of interests,
from the recreational (Minor Baseball in Don Mills) to service
with Dixon Hall, a downtown Toronto inner-city community centre,
and was a Charter Governor of the Shaw Festival as well as a
member of the board of the North York Symphony. After retiring
to Niagara-on-the-Lake, he was active in the Ulyssean Society
and the Niagara Foundation. He also served on the boards of St. Andrews
Presbyterian Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Saint Marks Presbyterian
Church in Don Mills. Friends are invited to join us in celebrating
his life on June 14, 2007 from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. at the family
home, at 427 Simcoe Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, following a private
family service.
Jack had a special concern for disadvantaged children. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sleeping Children
