MOYLE, Joan Lillian (née RODGER)
In Southampton, on Sunday July 29, 2007. Joan MOYLE (née RODGER) of Southampton in her 80th year. Wife of the late Joseph MOYLE. Dear sister Betty CUPPY of Peterborough and Pat and her husband Brian BAUMAN/BOWMAN of Burlington. Proud aunt of Gary BAUMAN/BOWMAN, Nancy KELLY, Susan CODE, Stephen CUPPY and Janis LYNN. Fondly remembered by her many Friends of the Church and Community. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Iva RODGER (née NELSON.) A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Thursday August 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. Reverend Keith REYNOLDS will officiate. Visitation and Fellowship will follow in the Family Centre of the Funeral Home. Interment Services will be conducted at Farington Cemetery, Brantford, at 12 noon on Friday August 3, 2007. Suddenly, at Saint Michael's Hospital, on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007. Beloved husband of Anne CARRUTHERS. Brother of Robert and Keith. Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received at Giffen-Mack "Danforth" Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway) 416-698-3121, on Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 2-6 p.m. Service to be held in the Giffen-Mack Chapel on Sunday, January 14 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Cutchogue, Long Island, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

McMANUS, Mary Moore (née NEEL) (1936-2007)
Mary Moore Neel McMANUS died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at her home in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was with her family and Friends. She is survived by her loving and beloved husband, Jim McMANUS; her four children: Katie CODY of Aurora, Colorado Neel HORST of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Miles HORST of Valencia, California; and Martha HORST of Bloomington, Illinois. She had seven grandchildren and two brothers, Charlie NEEL of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Jim NEEL of Tampa, Florida. She was born Mary Moore NEEL on May 30, 1936, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, and grew up in Big Stone Gap, Derby, and other mining towns in the Cumberland Mountains of Southwestern Virginia. She graduated from Appalachia High School, Viginia, and from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Science in nursing from University of California at Los Angeles. Mary worked as a school nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse educator and as a director of nursing. In addition to being an avid traveller and golfer, Mary was also an accomplished musician, often spending hours at her keyboards, creating music and singing. Starting as an acrobatic ballet dancer in her youth, she became a stage star in many amateur productions in Pennsylvania and California. Her travels took her around the globe, from Europe and Australia to Asia, Africa, the Arctic and Antarctic, North, Central, and South America, and all over the United States and Canada. Later in life she took up scuba diving, which allowed her to explore the reefs of the Caribbean, South Pacific and Australia. She also sailed on the last voyage of the Queen Elizabeth II. Mary Moore retired to Nanaimo in 1992. She was a member of the Nanaimo Golf Club and the singing group The Sweet Adelines. Her hobbies in Nanaimo also included playing bridge, alpine skiing, and entertaining senior citizens with songs and humour.

BREEDON, Boyd Wayne
Passed away on July 23, 2007 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, in his 48th year. Boyd, beloved husband of Heather BREEDON (nee STAINTON;) Dear son of Joyce and the late Earl BREEDON; loving father of Ryan (Fawne) BREEDON, Jessica (Derek CODYER) and Megan BREEDON. Cherished grandfather of Stone and Gage. Boyd will be missed by his brothers Dwight and Gary BREEDON. Predeceased by sister Darlene. As per Boyd's wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Boyd's memory.
