SWANTON, Wayne
Wayne SWANTON of Mildmay, passed away at South Bruce Health Centre, Walkerton on Sunday, July 1st, 2007 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Janice (FISCHER) SWANTON of Mildmay. Dear father of Suzanne and Lynne of Guelph, Gabrielle and David of Dundas, Jill and Mark of Waterloo, Derek an Sharon of Toronto, Jess and Matt of Hamilton. Loving grandfather of Madeline, Robert, Jarin, Ben and Sam. Fondly remembered by his sister Laura Lee CAYLEY and her husband Gordon of Lucknow and his mother-in-law Grace FISCHER of Walkerton. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Marilyn SWANTON and his brother Richard. Wayne was a teacher, principal, Rotarian, referee and an all out sports enthusiast. Visitation at the Greg Roberts Funeral Home, Mildmay on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Wayne's life will be conducted by Rev. Ed BASTIAN on Thursday, July 5th, 2007 in the Mildmay-Carrick Public School auditorium at 2 p.m. Donations to the Bruce Grey Public Education Foundation (Outdoor Education Centre), Mildmay Recreation, or the Walkerton and District Health Services Foundation.

At Exeter Villa, on Thursday, January 11, 2007, Cecilia "Lucy" (CAYLEY) INSON formerly of Huron Park in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late David L. Inson (1995). Dear mother and mother-in-law of Roy and Sharon CAYLEY of Stratford, Ray VARLEY of Huron Park, Linda and Rick MOFFATT of London, Marg INSON and her fiancÚ Jim WILLIAMSON of Exeter and Steve DAVIS of London. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Rita Josephine LOGAN of Thorndale. Predeceased by daughter Sandra VARLEY (2003,) son Bill INSON (2004,) sisters Marie WOLFE (1976,) Alice LONG (1966,) Leona SMUCK (1989) and brothers Wm. Peter CAYLEY (1974) and Roy CAYLEY (1922.) Friends may call at the C. Haskett and son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 2 p.m. with Rev. CONNOLLY Gerard " Gerry" David
Entered into rest suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Friday November 30, 2007 in his 87th year. Gerry was the beloved husband of Caryle SHAUGHNESSY and the late Frances HAMLYN (1988.) Loving father of Father David, James, John Paul and his wife Mary Theresa, Dana JAKOBSEN, Lyle JAKOBSEN and his wife Tammy. Predeceased by his daughter Paula FAIRMAN. Cherished grandpa of Tia, David, Sarah, Erik, Caitlin, Paul, Peter, Avery and Niko. Survived by his son-in-law David FAIRMAN. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Jack and his wife Murille, Marie and her late husband Frank STRANO, Marguerite, Joan and her late husband Bill ROSS, Kathleen and her husband Paul CAYLEY, Joseph and his wife Gloria, Sheila and her husband Pud JOHNSTON, Bernadette and her husband Ed GREENAN, Bill and his wife Mary and the late Frances and her late husband James MOHER. Friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Sunday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 40 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Tuesday December 4th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Lindsay. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday at 3: 30 p.m. If desired memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 67, Lindsay and visiting comrades are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Monday at 6: 45 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. service.
