ZWIETINK, Jean Irene (née RUPPERT)
On Saturday, January 6, 2007, the Lord took unto Himself His child Jean Irene ZWIETINK (RUPPERT) in her 73rd year. Jean was born in Dresden, Ontario April 13, 1934 and was predeceased by her parents, Anna and John RUPPERT and one brother. Beloved wife of the late Mr. Oene Hendrik ZWIETINK. Dear sister of George and Liz RUPPERT (Nova Scotia.) She is survived by her Step-family Shirley and Henry NIEBOER of London, Jeannette and Henry VLAAR of St. Catharines, Jane-Ann and Mike CAHILL of Kerwood, Darlene and Anthony BARTON of London, Al and Janice NIEBOER of the U.S.A., Shelley AUSTIN of Parkhill, Robert and Joanne VLAAR of St. Catharines, Brian and Kerri VLAAR of Calgary, Leigh-Ann and Tad DEMAS of Chicago, Joshua and Alicia, Mitchell, Danielle, Kaitlyn and Ashley, Curtis and Stephanie, Kate and Jenna, Trey and Annika. Special thanks to Doctor Lock and staff at Willow Ridge, McCormick Home, your care and support was really appreciated. A private family graveside service was held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound with family by her side on Monday evening August 20, 2007. In her 79th year, Betty Lou GOULD (née DEYELL,) beloved wife of the late (Clare) Clarence GOULD. Loving mother of Rick (Monika,) Ron (Louise,) Pete (Cindy,) Patti LOW/LOWE/LOUGH (Dan), Joanne STEPHENS (Andy), Cathy MacMILLAN (Bob). Mother-in-law of Marg CAHOON and Dale GOULD. Loving grandmother of Andrew GOULD (Sue), Sherry FISHER (Tom), Jason GOULD, Melissa KUCAVA (Mike), Michelle BURLEY (Mat WHITE/WHYTE), Malinda SANFORD (Curtis), Barrett GOULD, Nicholas GOULD, Meagan GOULD, Tayra and Tayan MacMILLAN. Great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bob DEYELL (Sharon,) Pat BAINBRIDGE (Gary,) Charlene THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Ted.) Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Paul and her sister Lois (Mrs. Robert McKENZIE.) Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary's Church on Friday morning at 10 a.m. A Vigil service will be held on Thursday evening at 8: 30 p.m. Interment in Saint Mary's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimers' Society would be appreciated by the family.

CAHOON, Howard Francis
Suddenly, at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre, on Wednesday, September 12th, 2007. Howard Francis CAHOON, of R.R.#1 Annan, in his 89th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Marjorie CAHOON (née HOOD.) Beloved father of Leonard CAHOON, of Annan, Leone (Bob) ALLAN, Brenda (Russel SEWELL,) both of Meaford, Allan (Linda) CAHOON of Thornbury, Roy CAHOON of Annan and Lorne (Cheryl) CAHOON of Collingwood. Grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Justina THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Owen Sound. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary CAHOON (HUGHES,) his brother Joe CAHOON, his sisters Mary HOOD, and Marguerite HOBDAY, and his grand_son, Greg ALLAN. Friends may call at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound, (519-376-7492) on Sunday from 2: 00 - 4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Howard CAHOON will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church, 554-15th St East, Owen Sound, on Monday September 17th, 2007 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Irish Block. A Vigil service will be held in the Funeral Home chapel on Sunday evening at 8: 30 p.m. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice, as your expression of sympathy.
