Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Southampton on Saturday June 9, 2007. Betty COOK of Southampton in her 76th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Don COOK for over 54 years. Loving mother of Phyllis and her husband Ian WITHEROW of Durham, Karl and his friend Dianne of Southampton, Evelyn and her husband Mike KUEHL of Corunna, and Mark COOK of Southampton. Loving grandmother of Darryl, Faith, Amanda, Troy, Justin, and Ashley. Predeceased by her parents William and Isabel BEECH, and her brother Bob. At Elgin Abbey, Chesley on Sunday, August 26th, 2007 with his family by his side, at the age of 76 years, Earl BEECH of Paisley. Husband for 55 years of the former Helen REEVES. Father of Bonnie Jean her husband Elroy THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Norma and her husband George KLAGES all of Chesley, Jo-Anne and her husband Dale BUHR, and Ron and his good friend Kim all of Paisley. Grandpa to Scott, Carol and Dwight, Norman and his partner Sylvie, Cheryle Ann, Rob and his wife Janice, and Kevin, Wes, and Trevor. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Brother of Rosalie NEILLY, and Norman and his wife Donelda. He is predeceased by his brother Reg, his sister-in-law Dorothy BEECH, and by his brother-in-law Bob NEILLY. Friends may call at the W. Actress, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and lifetime inspiration, Eleanor BEECROFT- STEWARD/STEWART/STUART died on September 20, 2007 in her 102nd year. Born in London, Ontario on September 8, 1906, she was the only child of Andrew Christie NORTON and Eleanor May McLAUGHLIN. Fond memories of her remarkable and graceful life will be carried by daughters Jane BEECROFT of Bancroft, Norma BEECROFT (late Doctor Ronald TURNER) of Bowmanville, son Stuart BEECROFT (Barbara) of Toronto, Carolyn ALLAN (Doug) of Whitby, and Dierdre, widow of her late son Eric (who died 2004 in England) as well as grandchildren Julian BEECROFT (Ulla,) Matthew BEECROFT (Kate DAVIS,) Deborah KERNOHAN (Dale) and John ALLAN (Jennifer,) Amy BEECROFT and Trevor BEECROFT. Eleanor was proud great-grandmother to Taylor, Jordan, Amanda, Nicole, Michael, Greta, Sam and Lydia.
Eleanor will be sorely missed by her many Friends and extended theatrical family. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude for the affection and great medical and nursing care accorded her at Kensington Gardens nursing home.

BAUN, Frederick
Passed away peacefully January 1, 2007 at University Hospital London, in his 95th year. He worked as a Machinist at the Canadian National Railway Shops and Dominion Chain in Stratford. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Patricia BAUN of London. He is also survived by his two children Gordon and wife Ferne, and Susan and husband Leighton McLEOD, all of Stratford; and one step-son Michael MASSECAR and wife Cindy of Calgary. Step-son David MASSECAR predeceased him. Loving grandfather to Mark BAUN and wife Mary Anne of Bath, and Kismet BAUN of Toronto. A great-grandfather to Jennifer and Stephen MASSECAR of Calgary and Michael and Bradley COLE of Bath. He will be sadly missed by special sister-in-law Shirley BEEMER. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Fairmont United Church, 29 Tweedsmuir Ave., London.

At Longworth Long Term Care, London, on Thursday, January 11th, 2007, Francesco "Frank" LICCIARDO of London in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Doreen (LOOKER) LICCIARDO for over 50 years. Dear father of Brenda CLARK and her husband Charlie; John LICCIARDO and his wife Margaret all of Mount Brydges. Dear brother of Joe LICCIARDO of Port Stanley; Rose PRENDERGAST of London and Annie BEER of Michigan. Loving grandfather of Ian CLARK and his wife Catherine; Derek CLARK and his wife Melanie and Adam LICCIARDO. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (10: 00 to 11:00am) to the funeral service which will be conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, January 16th, 2007. Interment of cremated remains in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 617 Wellington Street, London, Ontario N6A 3R6. The family would like to thank the staff from the 2nd floor of Longworth Long Term Care for their care and compassion to Frank and also to the paramedics who looked after him as well.

TEUNISSEN, Doctor Hendrik Willem "Hans"
Hans died suddenly at his home in Geneva at the age of 62. He had spent the last ten years in Switzerland working at the World Meteorological Organization (United Nations) studying the effects of global climate change. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto and achieved his PhD in engineering physics, however his work as a research scientist was dearest to his heart.
Hans was the beloved husband of Jacqueline STUBBS with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. He also leaves behind his sisters Gonnie O'BRIEN and her husband John, Ingrid DITTBURNER and her husband Jim, his father-in-law Douglas STUBBS and his sisters-in-law Marcia UNDERWOOD and her husband Philip, Jenny BEER and her husband Steven. Predeceased by his parents and his sister, Jeannette WILSON.
Hans loved his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by John O'BRIEN and his wife Laurie and their children Siobhan and Connor; Shannon O'BRIEN and her husband Rob THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and their children Garrett and Avery; Morgen and Trask DITTBURNER; Colin UNDERWOOD and Trevor BEER.
He also had many relatives in Holland and was particularly close to his aunt and cousins in Terwolde.
The funeral was held in Geneva on June 18, 2007 and a memorial service will be held in Canada in late August at Turner and Porter Funeral Home in Mississauga - date to be published.
We will miss you, Hans.

AVISON, Margaret Kirkland
At Toronto on Tuesday July 31, 2007 in her ninetieth year. Dear aunt of Bob McKIM (Patricia,) Joan ERB (Bob,) Barbara DUTTON (Charles,) David McKIM (Fran BEER,) the late Margaret McKIM (Paul FERGUSON) and Karen McKIM. Also mourned by many devoted Friends. Margaret wrote poetry almost all her life. She twice received the Governor General's Award (Winter Sun, 1960, and No Time, 1989). She held three honorary doctorates and in 1985 was named an Officer of the Order of Canada. Her Concrete and Wild Carrot, 2002, was awarded a Griffin Prize for Poetry. Her first six volumes of poetry were collected as Always Now, 2003, and a seventh, Momentary Dark, appeared in 2006. In accordance with Margaret's wishes, a memorial service was held privately. Donations in her memory may be made to Yonge Street Mission, 270 Gerrard Street East, Toronto M5A 2G4, or to Evangel Hall Mission, 552 Adelaide Street West, Toronto M5V 3W8, or to a charity of your choice.
