Michael, M.D.
Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Michael died at home in
Vermont September 25, 2007 after a dignified battle with cancer.
He was born July 6, 1932 in Hove, Sussex to the late Edwin and
Doris (AYLING)
BURFOOT.
Michael practiced anaesthesia 48 years
in the United Kingdom, Montreal, Saudi Arabia, Toronto and Vermont.
He was Chief of Anaesthesia at the Lakeshore General (Montreal)
and the Fanny Allen (Burlington) hospitals. Lately, his most
rewarding professional experience was with the sight-saving medical
charity, Orbis in Libya and Uganda. At home, he had a passion
for building and landscaping; completing three homes in Vermont
with gardens and ponds. He leaves behind his devoted wife of
53 years, Ruth

Jamie and Karen, also 8 grandchildren; Adam and Claire

Ben BURFOOT. He was predeceased by his beloved grand_son, Patrick
HARVIE. In the United Kingdom, his sister Christine mourns his
death as do many nieces, nephews, cousins and his brother-in-law

Brenda. A memorial service will be held on
Friday, November 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal
Church, Enosburg Falls, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, contributions
in Michael's memory may be made to Médecins Sans Frontières Canada
at 720 Spadina Ave, #402, Toronto, Ontario M5S 2T9 or at www.msf.ca.

Joan died in her 87th year early on the morning of October 24,
2007 in the company of her only son Sean and her daughter-in-law
Sara. Beloved wife of the late Bernard
AYLWARD, cherished mother
of Sean and grandmother to Oscar and Leo
AYLWARD.
Joan was a
proud native of Hamilton Mountain where she grew up but she lived
most of her life raising her family in Port Credit next to her
much loved Credit River. Her devotion to family, sense of humour
and steadfast Friendship will be deeply missed. She will always
be loved and remembered. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter
'Peel' Chapel 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy 10 North
of Queen Elizabeth Way) on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 for a Funeral
Service in the Chapel at 5 p.m. If desired, remembrances may

Thursday, October 25, 2007.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial
service and cremation has taken place.
