was an internationally well known Canadian Artist, Top graduate
of the Ontario College of Art and Design, a member of the Ontario
Society of Artists, on the original board of Visual Arts of Ontario,
Canadian Society of Graphic Art, Society of Painters-Etchers
and Engravers, the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and a Chartered
Woman Member of the Arts and Letters Club. Friends may visit
at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St.
(south of Wellesley) on Monday, August 6, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Rosedale United Church, 159 Roxborough
Dr. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment August 10,
2007 at 3 p.m. at Glen Morris Cemetery.

by 21 nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Central Butte, Saskatchewan
and later attended McGill University. Vernon loved spending time
at the family cottage at Lake of Bays, traveling to many different
destinations with his wife Linda and enjoyed spending time with
his family and Friends. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing
tennis. He served as a volunteer on Boards and also participated
in his children's sports teams and community groups. Service
will be held at Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview
Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Friday, November 9th
at six o'clock. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If Friends
so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Scholarship Fund
at McGill University, c/o Carmelina Dilorenzo, Donation and Record
Services, Development, Alumni and University Relations, 1430 Rue

It is with profound sadness that the girls announce their Mother's
passing in Galt, Ontario on July 12, 2007. Daidy was born October 3rd,
1918 in Toronto. She spent her early years in Toronto and Quebec
and attended school in Rothesay, New Brunswick at Netherwood.
During World War 2 she proudly served in the Women's Royal Canadian
Naval Service. At the end of the war she met and married the
love of her life James
FLAVELLE and moved to Galt, Ontario. Her
commitment to family, faith and Friends was constantly demonstrated
in her devotion to her parents, brother, husband, daughters and
grandchildren, to Trinity Anglican Church and her many wonderful
Friendships in her community and beyond. Daidy worked tirelessly
as a volunteer and eventually as Patient Services Co-ordinator
at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Her strength of character, love
of laughter and extraordinary loyalty and integrity found her
surrounded by the warmth of those she touched. She will be sorely
missed. Predeceased by her husband James, (October 1969), her
parents, Doris and Harold
