nurse at the Saint Thomas and London Regional Mental Health Facility.

Died peacefully on Monday 27 August, 2007 after a courageous
battle with cancer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Larry was the son
of the late Louis and Esther
(WEISS)
PAVLISH. He is sadly missed
by long-time partner and companion Cathy
D'ANDREA, sisters Evelyn
(Stevens) and Elizabeth, brother-in-law David, three nieces and
a nephew, Friends Mark, Don, Fred and Ron, the D'Andrea family,
and many Friends and colleagues throughout the world. Larry completed
his Bachelors degree (AB) at Ohio University and his M.A. and
Ph.D. degrees at the University of Toronto. He was a respected
scholar who undertook archaeological and geophysical research
in North America, Europe, the Far East, South Asia, the South
Pacific, Middle East and Africa over a career that spanned more
than 30 years. A popular lecturer in physics and archaeology
at the University of Toronto, Larry has mentored and is fondly
remembered by many students. In lieu of flowers, donations can
