POWELL, Helen Marion (née PENNIE)
Peacefully, at Saint_Joseph's Health Care Foundation - Mount Hope Centre For Long Term Care, London, on Sunday, September 17th, 2006, Helen Marion (PENNIE) POWELL of London in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest POWELL (1988.) Daughter of the late James and Laura PENNIE. Loving mother of Don POWELL and his wife Ellen and Jim POWELL and his wife Mary, all of London. Much loved Grandmother of Allison and her husband Michael MARSMAN and Elizabeth and her husband Chris JENKINS, all of London. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth PENNIE and his wife Marjorie. Helen's infectious laugh and love of life will be remembered and cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. Friends will be received by the family from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Canon R.W. FOSTER officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, Ontario N6A 3A1 or the Saint_Joseph's Hospitality Centre, 707 Dundas Street East, London, Ontario N5W 2Z5. SPRICIS, Elvira
Peacefully at University Hospital with family at her side on Tuesday November 14, 2006, Elvira SPRICIS passed away in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernest William. Loving mother of John SPRICIS, Daila BLADON (Geoff), Mudite COLLEY (Doug). Loving grandmother to Kelly PHILPOTT (Geoff PASS), Jason COLLEY (Lisa,) Lija IRONSIDE (Mike.) Great-grandmother to Erik, William John and Liam. Elvira was a resident of Mount Hope for the past few years. There will be a private family service. A reception to celebrate Elvira's life will be held on Friday, November 17 at 2: 45 p.m. at Mount Hope (Chapel) (21 Grosvenor Street). Special thanks to the medical team at University Hospital for their wonderful care. Many thanks to the 2nd floor nursing staff and Doctor YEMCHUK for their great care and kindness shown to our mother over the past few year. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Mount Hope or The Epilepsy Society.

D'CLUTE, Jean Margaret (née YEMEN)
Of R.R.#1, Blenheim passed away on Friday, February 3, 2006 at Blenheim Community Village. Born in Huron County near Ripley 92 years ago daughter of the late Thomas YEMEN and Margaret MacDONALD. Jean served as a Women's Royal Naval Service during World War 2 and was a Charter Member of the Women's Royal Canadian Navy in Chatham and life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Beloved wife of 51 years to Allan D'CLUTE of Blenheim. Dear mother of Deborah and husband Dan PRETTY of Leamington, Dale D'CLUTE and wife Mary of Strathmore, Alberta. Dear grandmother of Lisa, Mellissa and Joel, great-grandmother of Samantha and Michael. Dear sister of Helen YEMEN of Toronto and the late Matthew YEMEN. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Anne and Harry FRANSSEN of Chatham, Andy and Pam YEMEN of Mississauga, Linda and Brian McGILLORY of Toronto. Resting at the J.L. Ford Funeral Home in Blenheim for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with an Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service at 3: 30 p.m. and where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 1: 30 p.m. with Pastor Ed NICOL officiating, of the Cedar Springs United Church of which she was a valued member. Interment will be in Craford Cemetery. Memorials to the Blenheim Community Village Palliative Care would be appreciated.
