Alma
Alma FOX of Alberton, Prince Edward Island, Soul Mate, Wife,
Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Aunt, Neighbour, Co-Worker,
Publisher, Writer and Poet, Artist, Lover, and best friend a
person could ever have, was taken into Heaven on Sunday morning
April 9th, 2006 at 10: 37 a.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital,
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island after a tough Irish fight
with lung cancer. At her side, her husband Ray, daughter Robin,
son-in-law Bill
ANDREWS and good friend Sister Bernice Steele,
C.S.M. Thank you for the care by family doctor, Ahmed Elmezughi,
the staff from Western Hospital, the Paramedics at Rooneys Ambulance
Service, the Imaging staff at the Prince County Hospital, Home
Care Nurse Angela Webb and the folks at Vital Aire. Aspecial
thanks to Doctor Hunt, Doctor Khan, Doctor Chris Veale, and all the Angels
in Unit 8 of the Q.E.H. who took incredible care of my wife Alma.
Alma thanked them all, and reminded them of how lucky we were
to be blessed with such good care in this country, and Donna
Kidd (Cancer Care) for your guidance, compassion, and letting
me cry on your shoulder. Thanks to the staff who delivered food,
clean rooms, worked in the gift shop, security staff, who took
time to talk to my wife and to say hello. Love forever to Phil,
Alma's brother and his partner Miriam who helped me take care
of Alma at home. Thank you for good Friends who visited and spent
time with Alma both at home and in the Hospital. Thank you for
all your cards, e-mails, phone calls, food brought to the house,
and out pouring of love for my wife Alma. A special thanks to
our neighbour Jennifer, who took great care of our four cats
when I was not home. Alma leaves behind: husband Ray, daughter

Alma is resting at the Rooney Funeral
Home, Alberton, Prince Edward Island (902-853-2811). Visiting
hours on Saturday, April 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with
a Celebration of Life Service conducted by Sister Bernice Steele,
C.S.M. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorials
to the Island Hospice or to the Prince Edward Island Divison
