At her residence in Thornbury on Thursday, June 15, 2006 in her 100th year. Daughter of the late Edward and Lavina (EAGLES) COOPER. Reta was predeceased by her beloved husbands Norman HUNT in 1968 and George HUNT in 1999. Loved mother of Jim HUNT and his wife Mary of Guelph. Sadly missed Grandma of David HUNT (Judy McADAM) Jennifer (John) WABISZCZEWICZ; Jonathan (Aimee) HUNT; and Joanne (Erik) VELDMAN. Devoted Great-Grandma of Emma and Andrew HUNT Karen and Daniel WABISZCZEWICZ; Emily and Simon HUNT and Ryan, Monika, and Heather VELDMAN. Also remembered by step-children Sharon ROSS of London; Bonnie HUNT of Nepean and Bill HUNT and his wife Pat of Ravenswood and by their children Curtis ROSS Kimberley SIMS; Andrew HUNT, Tricia (Ryan DEWARS) and Steven HUNT and great-grandchildren Jake and Megan DEWARS and David SIMS. Predeceased by her brothers George, Clifton, Jim, Lloyd, Dolson and Carol COOPER and remembered as a dear aunt by their families. Family will receive Friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, The Valley Chapel, in Thornbury on Sunday from 2: 00 until 4: 00 p.m. and from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Whately Rebekah Lodge No. 231 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6: 45. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jim NEALE, will be conducted at Thornbury First Baptist Church on Monday June 19 at 11: 00 a.m. with interment at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery to follow. Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, October 20, 2006 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Roberta (Bobbi) JOHNSTON (née McADAM.) Fred will be remembered by son Fred of London, daughter Dawn of Belleville and her family. Dear brother of Geraldine (Joe) ROBINSON of Forest. Predeceased by his parents Ariel and Margaret (TROTT) JOHNSTON. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 1 p.m., with visitation starting at 12 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Brother of Janet (Ernest Jr.) BUTT and Ruth (Larry) BUTT, all of Forest. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Ray BELL and the late Vila McADAM. Resting at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home McFarlane Chapel, 9 James St. S. at Watt, Forest. Funeral service Monday, December 18 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Catherine ASCAH. Visitation Monday, December 18 commencing 1 hour prior to service. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. Donations to charity of choice would be appreciated. Peggy died peacefully surrounded by her family at home in Powassan on July 16, 2006, at the age of 88 years. Peggy was the beloved wife for 65 years of Joseph and loving mother of John (Julie) of Huntsville, Peter (Sheri) of Powassan, Rev. Jane (Geoffrey MARTIN) of Mississauga, Marilyn (David STONE) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jim (Susan) of Mississauga, and Stephen (Peggy) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dearly loved by 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Lois CARTWRIGHT of Richmond, British Columbia, Catherine MICK (Paul, d.) of Victoria, British Columbia, Joan SPINDLER (Henry) of Calgary, and Carol Anne EDWARDS (MAC) of Williamstown. Predeceased by her parents Stella (McADAM) and John McGIBBON, and her brother Robert. The family will receive visitors at Paul Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 7: 00 p.m. and a United Church Women Tribute at 8:45 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the Powassan United Church on Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Powassan Union Cemetery. Peacefully following a brief illness at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Wednesday, February 15th, 2006. Jack DRISCOLL, in his 83rd year. Now reunited with his best friend and soulmate Mildred (Mid) née McADAM (who predeceased him on June 13th, 2002.) Beloved father of Ellen and her husband Doug BEAL of Blackstock, Beth McGAHEY- NEUBAURER and her husband Karl, John and his wife Julie, Jane and her husband Bob JOHNSON and Mark all of Oshawa and his late son-in-law Stuart McGAHEY. Dear brother of Dora WHITE/WHYTE of Windsor and Margaret REAUME of Richmond Hill. Lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren Laura, Wendy, Katie and David BEAL, Julie and Dan NEUBAUER, Jessica McGAHEY, Ryan and the late Sean DRISCOLL and Damien and Bretton JOHNSON. Dearest great-grandfather of Kadan and Alexi JOHNSON and Keegan D'ARCY. Jack served St. Gregory's Church faithfully as an organist for over 52 years. He was recognized by Pope John Paul II, receiving a Papal Award for distinguished service in February 1996, on the occasion of his 50th anniversary as an organist at St. Gregory's. Jack served as an accountant with General Motors for 41 years. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2006 with her loving daughters by her side, at the age of 89. Orma has joined her darling husband Tom and her beloved children Carol and Tommy. Cherihsed mother of Lynda and husband George McADAM, Shelley and husband Bill DAWSON. Dearly loved nanny of Sean, Jeff (Vicki,) Brett, Scott, Kyle and Ryan. Mom's great love was her family and they loved her immensely. Mom and Dad showed us what a great love and marriage should be. Orma is resting at the Taylor Funeral Home "Newmarket Chapel", 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2006. Dearly loved husband of Wilma (OLSEN) WILLIAMS and loved father of Cathy and her husband Bill MOYSE, of R.R.#1 Southwold, Roy and his wife Melody WILLIAMS of Embro, Carolyn and husband Carl JENSEN of R.R.#3 Shedden and Janice and her husband Rick FULLER of Tillsonburg. Much loved grandfather of Kendra, Kyle, Krista, Kandace, Sarah, Meghan, Emily, Lee, Nicole, Bryan, Scott, Katie, Kelly and Kurtis and great grandfather of Avery and Easton. Dear brother of Hazel WILLIAMS of Saint Thomas, Mary and her husband Dave McADAMS of Sarnia. Predeceased by 2 sisters Evelyn THOMAS and Laura NICHOLS and by 5 brothers Melvin, Morley, Alvin, John and Lorne and by a number of nieces and nephews. Glen was born in Southwold Township on March 18, 1931, the son of the late Warren and Sadie McGUGAN) WILLIAMS. He lived in this area all his life and was retired from the P.U.C. after 35 years of service. He was a member of Warren Masonic Lodge #120 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons Fingal, a member of Eastern Star, Golden Acres, Fingal, the McArthur Cemetery Board, the Elgin Pioneers and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Thursday afternoon and then to Central United Church where funeral service will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in McArthur Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. An Eastern Star Service will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 6: 30 p.m. by officers and members of Golden Acres Chapter of the Eastern Star. Passed away quietly in her home Saturday June 17, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife to Douglas, Mother to Dennis McADAMS, Patrick (Liz) McADAMS, Diane (Brent) THORLEY, Stepmother to Jeannie (Bob) MIKLOS, Douglas (Sandy) PYZER, Linda (Tom) ADAM/ADAMS. Sister to Marilynn (Ross) AUSTEN. Predeceased by her sister Bettyhood SCRIVEN and brother Gene HAMLY. Noreen was loved by and devoted to her 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Sadly missed and always remembered. Visitation will be held at the "Scarborough Chapel" of McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (one block east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Wednesday June 21st from 1-3 p.m. Followed by a Memorial Service of Thanksgiving for her life beginning at 3 p.m. Reception to be held in the Arbor Lounge.
