FOSTER, Doris Anna (BRODERICK)
At Chelsey Park Retirement Community, London on Tuesday, January 31st, 2006, Doris Anna (BRODERICK) FOSTER of London in her 90th year, passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Charles Owen FOSTER (September 22, 1987.) Dear mother of Dr. David FOSTER and his wife Marilyn of Orleans, Ontario; Stephen FOSTER and his wife Lynn of London and Suzanne VAN WYK and her husband Norbert of Red Deer, Alberta. Predeceased by her brothers Milton and Lorne BRODERICK and her sister Irene SMELTZER and Maysie THOROGOOD. Loving grandmother of Michael FOSTER and his wife Julie of San Diego, California; Dr. Bethany FOSTER and her partner Leslie of Montreal, Québec; Marsha SEAMONE and her husband Blaine of Aurora; Scott FOSTER and his fiancee Venetia of Chatham; Jeffrey VAN WYK and his wife Stacy of Calgary, Alberta and Michael VAN WYK and his wife Hailey of Edmonton, Alberta. Also loved by her great-grandchildren Caleb, Claire, Cole and Evan. Doris will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews. During her life, Doris was a devoted Christian and member of First Baptist Church. She was a well known Antique Dealer and a charitable Philanthropist. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Chelsey Park for their care and compassion shown to Doris over the last 7 years. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, February 4th, 2006 at 9: 30 a.m. with Reverend Sheldon W. DYCK officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex, 555 Southdale Road East, Suite 100, London, Ontario, N6E 1A2 or to the charity of your choice. DEKOTER, Pieter (February 24, 1912-March 28, 2006)
I lift my eyes to the hills -- where does my help come from My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm At Grace Manor (Nursing Home), Brampton, Ontario, our Lord in His infinite wisdom, mercy and love called home Pieter DEKOTER. Beloved husband of Suzanna DEKOTER for nearly 68 years. Dear father of Larry and Willy, Tony and Mary and Gremar and Rev. Case VAN WYK. Grandfather of Rodney and Marietta, David and Tina, Ken and Leona, Jeffery and Kathy, Susan and Mark DIELEMAN, Janis and Dave PERSENAIRE, Stephen and Adria VAN WYK, Tina PERSENAIRE and Becky VAN WYK. Lovingly remembered by 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister in The Netherlands and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law in St. Catharines, Ontario. Visitors will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street S., Brampton on Sunday April 2 from 2-5 p.m. A private committal service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday April 3, 2006. A Memorial service will be held at 2: 00 p.m. at Heritage Hall, Holland Christian Homes, 7900 McLaughlin Road, Brampton with Rev. H. PRAAMSMA officiating. Pieter DEKOTER resided in London, Ontario for 34 years, where he worked at Almatex Paint and Varnish and Kelcoatings Limited. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Pieter is asked to consider the London Parental Christian School Society or London District Christian Secondary School.

Peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at home. Beloved husband of Lucy (née SUKRA.) Loving father of Esther Ruth (Daniel RAMESSAR); Naomi; Maxey; Jeanette (Ted VAN WYK) and the late Velma (Harold SUKHRAJ.) Adored grandpa of Shauna (Brad); Levina (Steve); Kevin (Lorna); Melissa; Nadina; Lydia and Jordan. Proud great-grandfather of Tate. Brother Edward was generous and caring, a spiritual advisor, counsellor, and friend to countless people in Guyana and Canada. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd. (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Friday, February 3, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Altona Road Community Church, 1367 Altona Road, Pickering on Sunday at 2: 30 p.m. Visiting at the church at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery. Donations to the Altona Road Community Church - Nazarene Mission International would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.

WYKES, Eileen Amy
(Born November 6, 1938)
Died peacefully, at home, on Friday, November 24, 2006. She was surrounded by the love of her daughters Kelly DUFFIN and Megan MUELLER and their families; Kelly's husband Dean WALKER, Megan's husband Tom MUELLER and their 8 year old daughter Saskia. Eileen was the daughter of the late Adrienne and Robert WYKES, and the eldest sibling of Graham, Ian (Marilyn), and Janie. Many Friends and family members in Canada and abroad kept in close touch with Eileen during her illness and were a source of joy and inspiration to her. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Tuesday, November 28 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, with Rev. Susanne VANDERLUGT officiating. Private family burial to follow.
