After obtaining his degree in Civil Engineering, Mr
ROY enjoyed
an active and successful farming career in Pain-Court and area.
He was a key member of countless agricultural boards, earning
him an honoured place in the Kent County Agricultural Hall of
Fame. Relatives and Friends are invited to join his family for
a Memorial Mass at St Pius X Church, 777 Valetta St, London on
Saturday,
April 22 at 12: 00 noon, with Fr. Eugene
ROY officiating.

Passed away peacefully on November 13, 2006 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of Jane. Loving father of Jack (Wanda) and George
(Ruthanne). Born in Falkow, Poland, Stanley survived the concentration
camps of World War 2 to make a new life in Canada. He was a long
time activist in the Polish community through the Polish Alliance
of Canada and the Zwiazkowiec. Friends may call on Wednesday,
November 15, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home
(6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral
Mass will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m.
at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (670 Sheppard Avenue East).
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Copernicus
Lodge Foundation, 66 Roncesvalles Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M6R 3A7
