TWIBLE, Edna G.
Peacefully at Belmont House in her 100th year, Saturday November 11th, 2006. She fulfilled her life with her love of family, Friends, art and her cottage "Maribil" on Georgian Bay. Predeceased by her husband Doctor R. Lawrence TWIBLE, her son William, and her sister Muriel COWAN. Loving mother of Mary and Gerry ARMSTRONG, and her daughter-in-law Patricia TWIBLE. Much loved Nana of Susan (Chris BAPTISTE), Robert (Anne), Carol (Peter TRAYNOR). Stephen (Laura), James and Laura, and her eight precious great-grandchildren. She also leaves her niece Joy COUPEY, Linda BERRY, and nephews Robert COWAN and Bruce TWIBLE. A funeral service will be held Monday November 20th at 11 a.m. at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Our most sincere thanks to Doctor BIRMINGHAM and all the caring nursing staff at Belmont House. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, a donation may be made in her name to Belmont House Foundation or Timothy Eaton Memorial Church General Fund.

TWIDDY, Helen Marie (née DELANEY) (1918-2006)
Helen Marie TWIDDY (née DELANEY) passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, Friday, March 24, 2006. After relocating to North Bay from Huntsville in 1997, she continued her unrelenting commitment to and passion for volunteerism. Helen was recognized across the province for her many contributions. Voluteer Coordinator Chelsea Gardens, London, Ontario. Founder Volunteer Association, Parkhill Nursing Home, Parkhill, Ontario. Founder, Past President and Volunteer Coordinator Fairvern Nursing Home, Huntsville, Ontario. President and Founder of the Ontario Nursing Home Volunteer Association. Ontario Mental Health Board (member) Toronto. Board Member and President London Middlesex Mental Health Board. Regional Representative and Provincial Director of the Ontario Volunteer Hospital Association. President St. Joseph's Hospital Volunteer Association, London, Ontario. In 1992 she was recognized for her Volunteer Achievement by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Up until the time of her death she was an active volunteer at the North Bay General Hospital. Helen was the beloved wife of 'Bert' TWIDDY who predeceased her in 2003. Mother of Donna SMEETON, Toronto, Marlyn YOUNG (Doug) Colorado, Karen ROTONDO (Terry) North Bay. Helen will long be remembered by her 8 grandchildren Paul, Sharon, Ann, Susan, Scott (previously deceased), Stephen, Cameron, Laura and Sarah. And her 11 great-grandchildren. Helen's endless energy and infectious smile will be remembered and sorely missed by so many. Memorial mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church Tuesday at 11: 15 a.m. A very heartfelt thank you to Doctor Bill FINNIS for his Friendship and care over the years. Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound on Saturday November 25, 2006 in her 91st year. Gladys Angeline MacDONALD (née SKENE,) beloved wife of the late Harold MacDONALD. Loving mother to Larry and his wife Penny, Ron and his wife Myrna, Reg and his wife Brenda, Ruthie WEATHERHEAD, Margaret and her husband Clark McMILLAN, Ted and his wife Elke and Joanne and her husband Wayne DEITER. Loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Gladys is survived by her brothers Bud SKENE and his wife Harriet, Earl SKENE (Rose) and by her sisters Helen and her husband Bob PORTER, Marj SMITH (Gord,) Fairy and her husband Gord BUCHANAN and Mae and her husband Lorne DENNIS. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Joyce HILLIS and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Wayne, her brothers Ewart and his wife Florence SKENE, Morgan and his wife Dolley SKENE and Bill SKENE, sisters Beatrice and her husband Bill TWIGGER, Pearl and her husband Aldon WALPOLE and June and her husband Harold HEATH. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Tuesday November 28, 2006 from 12 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. Rev. David LEGGATT officiating. Interment, in Greenwood Cemetery. Dear son of the late Edgar SANDHAM, and the former late Minnie RONSON. Life-long resident of Goshen and a general farmer. Member of Goshen Baptist Church. Much loved husband and best friend of 69 years to Edna (BEST) SANDHAM. Dear father and father-in-law of Joan MOODY of Woodstock and the late Gerald MOODY (1993,) Edgar SANDHAM and his friend Helena BROWN of R.R.#6 Tillsonburg, Valeria PAGE and Bob of Meaford, Roger SANDHAM and Brenda of R.R.#6 Tillsonburg, Ronson SANDHAM and Bonnie of R.R.#3 Tillsonburg, Gerald SANDHAM and Pat of Tillsonburg, Ann SCHEURMANN and Lu of Caledon, Ontario, Janet SAGE and John of Mabee's Corners and Elsa MUNN and Bob of Tillsonburg.
