NICHOLSON, John William
Passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois May. Loving father of Brenda and her husband George DACOSTA and Robyn and her husband Jimmy TSAGOURIS. Dear grandpa of Ashley and Evan. John was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and is survived by ten brothers and sisters. Predeceased by one sister and two brothers. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West (east of Jane Street Subway) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Prospect Cemetery.

On Wednesday, February 8, 2006. Pantelis, beloved husband of the late Lefkothea. Dear father of Margarita and her husband Ilias TOURGELIS, Olga and her husband Angelo TSAKIRIS and the late George and his wife Angela Goulos. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Pharmacy and Warden) from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3840 Finch Ave. E., east of Birchmount). Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. Margarita thanks the nurses and staff at Kennedy Lodge for the kindness and care given to her father.

MacLACHLAN, Phillip Nakahara
Tragically on January 13, 2006 in his 23rd year. Beloved son of Fred and Emmy. Dearest brother of Jim, Gene and Leanne. Grandson of Marjorie MacLACHLAN. He will be lovingly remembered by Cheryl TSANG, Donna and Ross, Matthew, Cara and Heather McGURK. Phil was continuing his studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario. He lived intensely in all that he did, and will greatly miss his wonderful Friends at school and work. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 18 at 1: 00 p.m. Private cremation to follow. In Phil's memory, an endowment will be created to benefit a student in his field of study. If desired, remembrances to this endowment would be gratefully acknowledged.

The family of the late Louis BUZANIS, wish to express our heartfelt and deepest gratitude to all our relatives. It was your comforting words and deeds that has helped us through this most difficult time. A special thank you to Chris and Georgina BUZANIS, Jim BUZANIS, Chris and Effie TSANTILAS for their generosity and comfort to us. We thank our dear Friends, neighbours and co-workers for the home visits, charitable donations, gift of food, cards and floral tributes. To the pallbearers; Frank BUZANIS, Mike BUZANIS, George ARVANITIS, Kosta MAKROSTERGIOS, Sam THEOCHARIS and George GELAKIS for their compassion and respect given to our Dad. We would also like to thank Jim SQUIRES and staff of Logan Funeral Home for their guidance. We thank Father Elias DROSSOS and Father CHELONIS for their spiritual and kind words spoken at our Dad's service. After a long life passed away peacefully at York Central Hospital on Monday, January 30th, 2006 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband John, son Chris and her daughter Vera. Beloved grandmother of Florence (Flavio), John (Kathryn), Paul (Cheryl) and Nick. Cherished great-grandmother of Richard (fiancée Paola), Paul, Michael, Melissa, Erin, Natalie and Alexander. Will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Angelo TSAPARIS, many nieces, nephews, Friends and neighbours. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Peacefully at Bluewater Health Mitton St. Site, Sarnia on Friday, November 24, 2006 Lillian Gertrude ULMER, age 79 of Sarnia. Lillian was a member of the St. Clair Sarnia Optimist Club and longtime member and treasurer of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire Much loved wife of Allan ULMER. Loved mother of Karen CRAMP of Tiverton, Paul BROWN (Monique) of Sarnia and dear stepmother of Trina ULMER (Charles MacKINNON) of Sarnia, Kim ULMER (Kirk DOUGHERTY) of Ottawa, Mike ULMER (Agnes BONGERS) of Hamilton, Jennifer ULMER (Phil GERVAIS) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Roy and Wayne CRAMP, Keith and Eric BROWN, Matthew TSAPOITIS, Kyle and Aimee MacKINNON, Megan and Emma DOUGHERTY, Sadie, Hannah and Madalyn ULMER, Wade, Tessa and Grace GERVAIS, great-grandmother of William CRAMP and Gavin MacKINNON. Mary (Menka) NESSINIS passed away in the arms of her loving daughter Toula on March 31, 2006 and was gently placed in the hands of the Lord. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Lazaros NESSINIS (1986). Loving mother to her cherished and darling daughter Toula NESSINIS. Daughter of the late Methodis and Demetra TSATLIS. Sister of Eva STAMCOS, Olga EVANS, Foula IOANNIDIS, and the late Kalliopi TSATLIS. Loving aunt to George STAMCOS, Tom STAMCOS, Maria JANTA, Toula COUSENS, Michael STAMCOS, John STAMCOS, Lana EVANS, Paul IOANNIDIS, Nick IOANNIDIS, Helen CHRONOPOULOS, Stella GOLTSIOS, Susie NEAGA, Danny NESSINIS, Nick NESSINIS, Kathy ROMAS, and their respective families. Sister-in-law to Helen NESSINIS, Avraam GRIGORIADIS, and the late Kostas STAMCOS, Chris EVANS, Tommy IOANNIDIS, Chris NESSINIS, Marika GRIGORIADIS, and Chrisoula and George EVANGELIDIS. Mary rose gracefully to the challenges of Alzheimer's and journeyed through her path with great courage and strength. With her laughter she showed us joy and in her silence we learned the depths of compassion and the limitless bounds of the human spirit. Mary's kindness and gentleness will always be remembered and treasured by all who knew her. In her final moments, Mary's pure heart beat with great strength until her last precious breath. We are all better for having known her and will miss her greatly. Friends and family will be received at the Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., on Monday, April 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, April 5th at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.
