Peacefully, at age 90 (five Chais) on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Toronto Western Hospital. Nini, beloved wife of the late Leopold (Poldi) KOSINER. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Vivian and Barry KAPLAN, and Bion and Nancy KOSINER. Dear sister of Willi KARPEL and the late Stella STERN, and Erna TOUFAR. Devoted Oma to grandchildren Cary and Amelia, Randy and Abbie, Darryl and Sarah, and Evan, and great-grandchildren Jackson, Talya, and Shane. Devoted aunt and friend to many. Beloved son of Reta MELOCHE and the late Daniel MELOCHE (May 30, 1990) of Tillsonburg, and Stephen TOUFEXOPOULOS of Brooks, Alberta. Dear brother of Steve (Robin) MELOCHE of Saint Thomas; Chris MELOCHE of Tillsonburg, and dear uncle of Daniel MELOCHE of Saint Thomas, Cassandra ZAVISLAK of Saint Mary's; Charlene ZAVISLAK of Verona, and cousins Maryanne Lisa; David; Katie. Also, survived by several aunts, uncles and other cousins. Served with the Royal Canadian Navy 1954-1962 and retired employee, Scarborough Board of Education.
Suddenly after a brief but courageous battle with colorectal cancer on Sunday, April 23, 2006. Jerry, in his 76th year, beloved husband of the late Regina (née SAULNIER) Loving father of Dave and wife Rachelle of Bowmanville, and Lynn TOUGAS of Toronto. Devoted No. 1 hockey fan of his granddaughters Kate-Lynn and Julianne. Survived by his brother Maurice TOUGAS of British Columbia. Relatives and Friends will be received at the McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Died peacefully in Dundas, Ontario with her children, Peter YOUNG, Jo WALKS (née YOUNG) and Patricia YOUNG at her side, on Saturday, November 11, 2006. She was in the thoughts of her eldest son, William W. YOUNG of Victoria. The beloved wife of the late J. Lorne JOWSEY and Robert M. YOUNG (deceased.) She is survived by her brother Allan LAUT of Smith Falls and predeceased by her twin brother William, brothers Don, Jack and sister Agnes TOUGH of Bracebridge. Will be missed by her three step-daughters, Judy DYMENT, Frances WENSLEY, Linda WILLIAMSON, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family truly thanks Sandy Blackadar and the loving staff at The Blackadar Continuing Care Centre for their unfaltering support and care of Marion. Suddenly in Toronto on Saturday evening, December 2nd, 2006, at the age of 45 years, Rick JACOBS of Southampton and formerly of Meaford. Husband of the former Trudy KEWAGESHIG. Father of Richard “Rich”, and Joseph “Joey”, both of Southampton. Papa to Sharissa. He is survived by his mother Rita JACOBS of Sagamok First Nation, by his daughter-in-law Karissa RITCHIE of Southampton, by his brothers Irwin, Roger, Peter, and John JACOBS, and Tim RITCHIE, and by his sisters Kim TOULOUSE and Donna JACOBS and their families. Brother-in-law to Faith CROWE, Bonnie MASON, Monica ROOTE, Jackie KEWAGESHIG, Larry KEWAGESHIG and Tom KEWAGESHIG and their families. Rick will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Irwin PETERS, and by his stepfather Marvin JACOBS. Friends may call at the family residence, 95 Ottawa Ave., Southampton on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006. Funeral service will be conducted in Wesley United Church, Highway 21, Saugeen First Nation on Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m., with the Rev. Maggie McLEOD officiating. "Dancing Star" passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 8th, 2006 at the Hospital for Sick Children with her family surrounding her. She will be missed by her loving parents Debra and Allan TOULOUSE and her brother Zach. Holli-Lyne will also be missed by her paternal granny Marci GOODFELLOW (Peter) and maternal grandfather Malcolm LARIVIERE, predeceased by maternal grandmother Emily DOKIS. She will be sadly missed by her aunts Delores, Doreen, Tammy and uncle Theodore (Anne), predeceased by uncle Don and Barb LARIVIERE. Left to treasure her memory also are Amy, Alexa, Zach, Samantha and Kelly, her beloved Shelties Windchyme and Choice. Of Toronto and formerly of Amberley, suddenly at his residence Monday March 6, 2006 at the age of 56. Beloved son of Eldon and Allene BRADLEY of Stratford and formerly of Lucknow. Dear brother of Phyllis and David TODD also of Stratford. Survived by 2 nieces Kate TODD of Guelph and Emma TODD of Stratford. Also left to mourn are his Aunt Evelyn BRADLEY and her 6 daughters (Maureen and David THOMAS, Mary and Bruce SCOTT, Maxine and Greg ALTON, Movita BRADLEY, Michele and Johannes PREHN and Madonna and Bruce TERPSTRA,) Uncle George Michie and MacLennan cousins (Sandra and Gil TOURIGNY, Brenda and Don WHITFIELD and Norman and Cathy MacLENNAN) and dear friend Joan FILIP and family. Predeceased by his grandparents, Uncle Jim BRADLEY and Aunt Doris MICHIE. Doctor BRADLEY was an Associate Professor at University of Toronto where he had taught many medical students. He also developed the curriculum for and was the Course Director of Art and Science of Clinical Medicine. He was Director of Wightman-Berris Academy Undergraduate Medical School at the Toronto General Hospital and had received the Clinical Teacher Award 2004 from the Canadian Anaesthesiologists' Society. He was currently working as an anaesthesiologist at Toronto General Hospital and was studying towards a degree in Masters of Health Administration. On many of his holidays he worked locally as a General Practitioner at Wingham and District Hospital for the past 22 years. A memorial service was held Saturday March 11, 2006 at 1 p.m. from the Lucknow Community Centre with spring interment at Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
