in her 94th year, on December 11th after a long and gracious
life. Mae was the devoted, loving wife of the late John Ernest
SHARPE "
Ernie" (b. 1904 - d. 1947.) She is the cherished, dedicated
mother of James Arthur
SHARPE.
She is also survived by her beloved
grandchildren Jason (Tanya,) Peter (Erin,) and Kathleen
SHARPE.
Dear great-grandmother (G.G. Mae) of Henry, Sophia, Zoe, and
Georgia Mae. She also leaves dear nieces and nephews and younger
Friends. Mae enjoyed her advanced years with the frequent company

Passed away peacefully, at Toronto General Hospital, after a
brief illness, in the presence of his beloved wife Anna and family.
Chris will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years and sons,
Alan (Cecile) and Tom (Veronica), and grandchildren Christopher,
Matthew, Alison, Tom and Alicia. Chris enjoyed over 40 years
of public service, serving as Councillor, Deputy Reeve, Reeve
and Alderman in the former Township, Borough and City of York.
He was an honorary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch
57, a lifetime member of the Metropolitan Toronto Conservation
Authority and active in the York Lions Club for over 40 years.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston
Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.
A family service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006.

January 30, 2006 in her 71st year. Predeceased by her husband
Takeo. Loving mother to sons Dale (wife Rhonda), Wayne (wife
Monique) and daughter Shelley (husband Rob). Remembered always
by her grandchildren Emily, Jenna, Nathan, Eric, Jacob and Nicholas.
Survived by her sisters Chiyeko, Yoshiko and Masue. Heartfelt
