It is with great sorrow that the extended family announce John's
passing after a brief illness at the Greater Niagara General
Hospital on Tuesday, June 7, 2006. Beloved husband of the late
Vera (née
PREBBLE)
MacQUEEN and the only child of the late Colin
and Gertrude
MacQUEEN.
John was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
in 1922. His family spent many happy years in Owen Sound before
moving to Niagara Falls. He served in the Royal Canadian Air
Force in World War 2. He worked for Ontario Hydro for 42 years
and was a member of the St. Catharines Yacht Club and enjoyed
his time on the water aboard the Freedom I. John was predeceased
by his sister-in-law Kay
TIPLIN a few short years ago and is
survived by his dear friend Shirley
TURNER.

The Browns and the Anstruthers will welcome Friends on Monday,
June 12, 2006 from 12-1 p.m. at Hetherington and Deans Funeral
Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. A Service of Remembrance will immediately
follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation has taken place. In

Sadly on Saturday, April 22, 2006 surrounded by her family, Jeanne,
beloved wife of the late Ted, peacefully passed away in her 87th
year. Loving mom of Carole (David), Marilyn (Jim) and Ted (Techa).
Proud grandma of Darryl (Tamara), Christine (Jeremy), Paula (Ian),
Caitlin, Nolan, Brett and Alexis. Great-grandma of Hailey and
Devyn. Jeanne will be sadly missed by her sister Vivian (Doug),

He enjoyed golf from early spring to late fall with his golf
buddy Red, and also bowled with the Pedagogue league for many
years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will
be held on Tuesday, December 12th from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday,
December 13th from 6: 00-7:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel,
709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be
conducted on Wednesday December 13th, 2006 at 7: 00 p.m. At Richard's
request and in accordance with the wishes of his family, please
