Predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Gwyneth Elizabeth (Betty
LEWIN,) the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident in 1985
by his cousin and best friend Adrian
KIMMEL and siblings Coba,
Betty, Adrian, Johan, Jaap and Marius. He was admired and loved
by his many relatives in Holland and Ontario, his Oriole Parkway
neighbours and Friends. Conrad will be remembered as a proud
gentleman of great strength, courage and endurance. He had a
passion for life, lived it to the fullest and will be greatly
missed. Memorial donations in Conrad's name to the Canadian Cancer
Society would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Memorial

and Gordon (Tracy). Caring and active grandmother to Andrea,
Jonathan, Emily, Cameron, Robert, Evan, Cynthia, Michael, Christie,
Zoe, Nicole and Daniel. Gwen was a loving woman of deep Christian
faith who lived her beliefs by looking for the best in people
and in all of life's circumstances. She taught her family through
both word and deed and was a true advocate for important causes
including health and accessibility. Along with husband Charles,
she was a founding Board member of the Wexford Home for the Aged
and co-founder of the Toronto Chapter of the Alzheimer Society.
Active in Christian Women's Club and Community Bible Study, Gwen
delighted in her children's accomplishments and in her grandchildren's
adventures, always a compassionate shoulder to cry on, with a
wise word of advice and unwavering support and encouragement.
For Gwen there was always time to smell the roses and have a
cup of tea. Special thanks to the staff at Mom's home for the
past two years, the Claremont Retirement Residence, for their
love and support, in particular her two main caregivers Anne
