EVANS, Boris " Butch"
Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Nina EVANS. Loving father of Vanessa and her partner Craig, Jennifer McLEAN and her husband Chris. Devoted and loving Dedo of Brookelyn and Abbey. Dear brother of John (Helen), Kiril (Sophie) and the late Alexander (Florence). Jennifer and Vanessa would like to thank all the staff at Sunnybrook, especially Dr. TAUB, Pat REID and all the nurses in D2-Dialysis Unit. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd. (between Eglinton and St. Clair Ave. E.) on Monday, March 13, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.

LEEK, Leida
Passed away at age 83, in Toronto, on April 10, 2006 after a long illness. Born May 21, 1922 in Parnu, Estonia, she met her future husband, Paul, in 1947 in a Swedish refugee camp before immigrating to Montreal in 1950, and settling in the Toronto area later that year. Hard-working and creative, she especially enjoyed music, reading, knitting, sewing, and the beach. She worked for Hallmark Coutts for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughters, Tiiu Leek JACOBSON and Enda McNEIL and their spouses, Bill JACOBSON, and Michael McNEIL, as well as her grandchildren, Lindsay TAUB, Kara and Sean McNEIL, and Bo JACOBSON. We will miss her greatly. Private funeral services. Donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 Mr. Wilfrid "Bruce" ROY of Clinton and formerly of Hullett Township, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Agnes (Nancy) ROY (1993) and dear companion of Genevieve ALLEN of Londesborough. Dear father of Bill and Pat Roy of R.R.#1 Londesborough. Loving grandfather of Michael, Jenna and Alanna ROY. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Vivienne ROY and Ruth ROY and husband Kurt TAUBER, all of Clinton. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Bruce will also be fondly remembered by the Allen family. Predeceased by brother Murray ROY and sister Eunice BUTLER. Bruce was a dedicated Pioneer Hi Bred Ltd. sales representative for over 45 years and a member of the Hullett Lodge Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons No. 568 in Londesborough. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., 153 High Street, Clinton on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. A private family service will take place. Beloved mother of Scott and his wife Kelly of Lucan and Kristine and her husband Mark TAUSCHEK of London. Loving grandmother of Brooke, Hannah, Kaitlyn and Nathan. Dear sister of Marianne SCHAEFER. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Grace MICHEL and father Lloyd MICHEL, and brother-in-law John SCHAEFER. Friends will be received on Monday, October 2nd, from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral and committal services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Frank MANTZ officiating. Cremation to follow with private interment of ashes in Listowel Cemetery.
