Lena was a member of Saint Mary's Church and a Life Award member
of the C.W.L. Much loved wife and best friend of 54 years of
John ZAMECNIK.

with the St. Lawrence Seaway. He is a member of the Cathedral

enjoyed spending time with his family and Friends and enjoyed
finding treasures at auctions. His last moments were spent in
his favourite chair in his backyard patio on a brilliant early
fall morning; his favourite time of year. Mr.

Peacefully at Mitchell Nursing Home, on Friday December 15, 2006
in his 81st year, with his son at his side. He was born December 12,
1925, in the village of Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom
to the late George Thomas and Hilda May
TATTERSALL. He served
in the Royal Navy during World War 2, and was stationed in Colombo,
Ceylon. On December 15, 1949, he married Jean Moira
(HOGG,) in
Bangalore, India. In 1956 they moved to Canada, where he worked
as a Radio Operator for the Department of National Defence, and
then as a Communications Officer for CRC until his retirement
in 1980. They retired to the Costa del Sol in Spain, and spent
the next 25 years travelling the world, and building his dream
home, Shalimar. In 2005 he returned to Canada, to spend his remaining
time close to his family. His passions were gardening, golf,
travel, and enjoying the company of others. Sadly missed, he
is survived by his son Roy Kim and his wife Deborah of Saint Marys,
daughter Lorraine and her husband John of Vancouver; five grandchildren,
Christopher, Graham, and Suki, of Saint Marys; Jasmin, Amber, of
Vancouver; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Aubrey, also
of Vancouver; two brothers, Clive and Ian, of the United Kingdom
one sister, Jayne, of the United Kingdom and best friend Joy
Parry, of the United Kingdom. He is further survived by nieces,
nephews, other relatives and many Friends around the world. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife
Jean in 1997, and sister Joan in 2006. A celebration of his life
will be held on Thursday December 21st at the La Ball Funeral
Chapel in Saint Marys from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. His ashes will be interred
at a private ceremony in Spain. In his memory, a memorial fund
has been established for one of his unfinished projects, to build
a school for children in Sri Lanka. Donations in his memory may

Passed away suddenly, at her home, on Sunday, December 25, 2005
in her 50th year. Diane was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario.
She graduated with a B.A. from Laurentian University in Sudbury
and earned her B.Ed. degree from Nipissing University in North
Bay, Ontario. She taught grade school for a number of years in
Northern Alberta and for the York Region Catholic District School
Board. Diane was always creative in writing poetry and verse
that was both whimsical and amusing. She possessed a dry but
keen sense of humour. Diane's generous and faith-filled spirit
enabled her to reach out to others and kept her daily outlook
on life positive and rewarding. Diane is survived by her mother
