Staunton, Viginia 73, of 205 N. Augusta Street, Staunton, departed
this life at 6: 31 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, in the University
of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. She was born August
18, 1933, in Erie, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Stanislaus
Jakob and Helen Marie

GORNY.
Mrs.
BRADLEY was a graduate
of Mercyhurst College. Prior to retirement, she was a teacher.
She was a beloved teacher, having taught in the United States,
Canada, and Germany, and most recently worked with the after
school program at Verona Elementary School. She was a hostess
for Romper Room on WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania and had been
very active in theatre. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi
Catholic Church. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law,
Jeffrey Frederick and Michelle
(HOWLAND)
BRADLEY of Mt. Sidney
a daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Larry
SHEMER of Rockville,
Maryland; two brothers, Richard
GORNY of Erie, Pennsylvania and
Norbert GORNY of Hiram, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Lila,
Jack, Mary Page, Lydia, Annie
BRADLEY, and Samantha
SHEMER. She
is also survived by Mary C.
BRADLEY of Brantford, Ontario. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother,
Donald GORNY. A Rosary Service was held with a Mass of Christian
Burial on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 in St. Francis of Assisi
Catholic Church, Staunton, Viginia, by Father Gerald Przywara.
Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Erie, Pennsylvania,
on Saturday, December 30, 2006. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the A.M.C. Cancer Center, c/o Gwen Eavers, 78 Medical
Center Drive, Fishersville, Viginia 22939 or to the Mercyhurst
College, 501 East 38th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16546-0001.
