SYLVER, Edith Isabel
Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in her 95th year predeceased by her husband Winfield SYLVER, Isabel will be dearly missed by her children Richard SYLVER (Mary) of Southampton and Jane SYLVER of Hamilton; loved grandmother of Stuart and Andrew SYLVER and great-grandmother of of Nickalus, A.J. and Charlie; survived by her brother Bill GILMOUR; predeceased by brothers Robert, Jim and Jack GILMOUR and by sisters Ethel KLEIN, Lynn FOSTER and Anne HAYES; also survived by many nieces and nephews, Isabel will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. The SYLVER Family will receive Friends at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, today (Friday) from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Larry BROWN of Holy Trinity Anglican Church officiating. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all of the visiting nurses from the Victorian Order of Nurses, Jennifer DENNIS of the Community Care Access Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion. BROWN, Wilfred Thomas “Brownie&rdquo
Born July 16th, 1938 and sadly taken from us September 28th, 2006. He fought a long and courageous battle and passed peacefully with his family at his side. Forever loved by his wife Leona of 49 years, daughters Terry (Dan) PERRI, Tracey (Mark) McGARRIGLE, Tammy (Clifford) YUNGBLUT, Trudy (Spencer) FALCONER and his his son Bradley “Charlie” (Sue) BROWN. Devoted and dearly loved Papa to Chris and Mike PERRI, Ryan and Myranda WILSON, Billy and Katie McGARRIGLE, Shelley, Charlene, Shannon and Jimmy YUNGBLUT, Daniel and Joey BROWN, Tanya, Brianne and Nicole FARR, and Tommy FALCONER. He will be sadly missed by his best friend “Tuppy”. Loving son of Marion and the late Alfred BROWN of Allenford, Ontario. Dear brother of Gerald (Sheila) BROWN of Owen Sound and the late Ruth (Bev) SMITH of Hepworth. Brother-in- law of Fred (Helen) of Port Elgin, Bev (Nancy) BROWN of Ottawa, Wayne (Pat) BROWN of St. Catharines, Bonnie (Raymond) SYLVEST of Owen Sound and Bev (Joan) SMITH of Oliphant. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive Friends at the Hammond Funeral Home And Chapel, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday from 1: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 2nd at 12: 00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Tree/Bench Program (Mel Swart Park), St. Catharines General Hospital Oncology/Palliative Care or Juvenile Diabetes would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully but unexpectedly at his home on Monday, December 18, 2006 in his 50th year. He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife Kathy LANCASTER. Loving father of Nadine, Becky and Angela MERRIAM and step-father of Kathy-Jo and her husband Will HUNTER, T.J. LANCASTER and his wife Ashley, Lisa and her husband Mike ADAM/ADAMS and Melissa and her husband Derek SYLVEST. Proud papa of Andrew, Misti, Savannah, Addison, Aiden, Kevin, Jasmine, Amanda and Elizabeth. Son-in-law of Audrey ALLAN. Brother of Joyce and her husband Jim WARDELL, Jim MERRIAM and his wife Diane, Larry MERRIAM and his wife Shirley and Lawrence MERRIAM. Also survived by five step-brothers and sisters and sadly missed by the five amigos. Predeceased by his parents Garfield and Beatrice MERRIAM and his sister Myrtle. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 9 a.m. until service time. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 11 o'clock. Of Mildmay, passed away at South Bruce Health Centre, Walkerton on Monday, January 2, 2006 in her 81st year. Loving mother of John, Janet, Margaret, Richard, Cathy and Gloria. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Alice DOOLAN, her son Richard McISAAC and her husband David SYLVESTER. Yetty is a person that can be remembered by many for her kindness and generosity. On Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 90. Art PANABAKER of Port Perry, beloved husband of Margaret (née CLARK) for 63 years. Much loved and respected father of Diane and her husband Jim SYLVESTER, and Joy PANABAKER, both of Ottawa. Cherished Poppa of Byron, Jocelyn and Tanya. Dearly loved brother of Glen and Peggy, both of Kitchener. Art was predeceased by his sisters Kae, Jen, Ruby and June. He will be sadly missed by family and Friends. The family of Art PANABAKER will receive Friends at the "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" of the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, April 5th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, April 6th from 11 a.m.-12 noon.
