Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital-Veteran's Wing on Monday, February 6, 2006, Mr. Melville L. SOPER passed away in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Leanora SOPER. Dear father of Brian Douglas SOPER and Susan SLEVIN and her husband Patrick. Loving Grandfather of Karen and Sean and Serena, Ruth, Stephanie and Jillian. Brother of Douglas J.G. SOPER and his wife Marjorie and uncle to Clair, Lorna, Naomi and Rebecca. At Melville's request, cremation has taken place and private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Dear son of Marista ADAMOU of London and predeceased by his father George ADAMOU. Loved father of Maria and her husband Joe GAMBOSO and Demetre ADAMOU all of London. Loved by 2 grandchildren Kiara and Lucas GAMBOSO. Husband of Eva ADAMOU. Dear brother of Loukia and her husband George SOPHOCLEOUS and Chris and his wife Helen ADAMOU all of London. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne Street) on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Father Elias DROSSOS officiating. Dear father of John, Jeff (Victoria), Jim (Mary-Anne), Paul (Michelle), Peter (Kirsten,) Shannon and Erin TONER. Loving grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Mary (Rudy). Brother-in-law of Peggy (John). Andy was an active member of Saint John's Anglican Church in Madoc for many years. Retired Bell Canada employee and telephone pioneer. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and Friends. A Memeorial Service will be held in Saint John's Anglican Church, Madoc on Monday, January 9 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint John's would be greatly appreciated.

Was born in Rodney, Ontario, March 29, 1924. Fred passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2006. He was a lifelong member of West Lorne Baptist Church. He was a logger for most of his life and worked at Milner Rigsby for many years. Fred is survived by longtime companion and caregiver, Sharon WELCH, brother Lawrence (Lorne,) sister Doris NASH, sister-in-law Geraldine WELCH; sons David A. WELCH (Patricia), James F. WELCH (Cathy), Peter L. WELCH (Lorie), Brian E. WELCH (Denise), Isabel LEWIS (Bill), Ethel SOPKOWIAK (David.) Fred has 35 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents Lawrence E. WELCH and Margaret I. RODGERS, brothers Clarence, Ed, William sister Lavina and son Leonard Limon WELCH. Visitation will be at the West Lorne Chapel on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the Chapel on Friday at 11: 00 a.m., Rev. A. KAUPS and Pastor S. PATTERSON officiating. On January 20, 2006, aged 51 years. It is with great sadness that we announce Brian's passing. He died peacefully, surrounded by family and close Friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving mother, Nancy, (predeceased by his father, Ted) his beloved wife, Susan, his adored Bunny-Baby, Christine, special nephew, Morgan McGEE, Auntie Shirley, cousin Diane, parents-in-law, Paul and Olga SOPOCI, sisters-in-law, Ellen McGEE, Ollie PEHLEMANN (Mark,) Paulette SOPOCI and Dorie STEWARD/STEWART/STUART (Chris,) nephews and nieces, James, Ally, Curtis, Bennet, Abbey, Sophie and Graham, "Uncle" Ralphie and best friend, Harry MINAKER. Predeceased by brother-in-law, Kevin McGEE, his "partner-in-crime." Brian was the "King of Talk" and helped countless people avoid parking fines and collections. His dry sarcasm drew many laughs and all who knew him will remember his funny comments and quick wit. Although never formally trained, Brian's culinary skills were legendary and we will be forever experimenting to replicate his famous Caesar salad dressing. Our sincerest thanks to the fabulous, caring staff of Southlake Regional Hospital, especially, Sherri, Shelly and Ruth, Dr. NIKHAN, Dr. WEINGARTEN and Dr. MANN. Family will greet Friends at the Thompson Funeral Home, 29 Victoria Street, Aurora on Monday, January 23 from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. On Tuesday, January 24, family will greet Friends at 1: 00 p.m., at the Aurora United Church, 15186 Yonge Street, Aurora, prior to a 2: 00 p.m. celebration of Brian's life.
