taught for the London School Board until his retirement in 2002.
He enjoyed golf from early spring to late fall with his golf
buddy Red, and also bowled with the Pedagogue league for many
years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will
be held on Tuesday, December 12th from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday,
December 13th from 6: 00-7:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel,
709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be
conducted on Wednesday December 13th, 2006 at 7: 00 p.m. At Richard's
request and in accordance with the wishes of his family, please
do not send flowers. Those wishing to make a donation in memory
of Richard are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Ontario or the London Health Sciences Foundation -- Cancer
Centre.

Niagara Falls and the late Tom. Sister-in-law of Walter, Helen

her many great-nieces and nephews. Leda will also be missed by

Peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2006 in Rainy River, Ontario
in his 89th year. Born in Arnot, Norway, Arne fell in love with
his wife-to-be, Irene, and Canada while posted in Toronto (and
later Muskoka) at "Little Norway" serving as Sergeant in the
Norwegian Air Force 1940-1945. An accomplished ski jumper and
Track and Field athlete in his early years and later an avid
bowler, he loved all sports. His patience and good-natured spirit
was beyond reproach and he leaves many fond memories for both
family and Friends alike. A Good Soul has passed from our midst.

belly in all of Heaven now that Helen has arrived. Her earthly
credentials are many. Helen spent endless hours coordinating
the efforts of the Laurentian Knitting and Quilting Group. Her
dedication and tireless efforts for the Kitchener Downtown Community
Health Centre will be greatly missed and her kind hearted work
for the St. Vincent De Paul Sandwich Project serving up meals
to the less fortunate of our community will be greatly missed.
When there was a need Helen was always there to serve. Helen's
family will receive relatives and Friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
