At his residence on Sunday, March 5, 2006. William "Scotty" KINGHORN of Orwell and formerly Richmond in his 84th year. Dear father of Margaret BARR and husband Richard of Scotland and Bill KINGHORN of Scotland. Dear friend and companion of Jackie SIDAWAY and her children Kevin and Ronny. Also survived by a sister Betty and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on June 23, 1922. Scotty ran a booth at the Aylmer Sales Arena for a number of years. He was a mason and he served in World War 2 in the S.B.S. Marine Corp. Friends may call at the H.A. Mother of Betty and her husband Robert GILMOUR of Southampton, Margie and her husband Allan SIDDALL and David MacNAB all of Owen Sound, Carol and her husband Howard MATZ and Dale and her husband Dave FINNIE all of Port Elgin. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren, sisters Doris MANLEY of Southampton and Arlane McTEER of Paisley. She is predeceased by sons Dennis and Johnny and by two brothers. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) on Sunday, February 19th from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. funeral service will be conducted at st. Born in Vittoriosa, Malta, August 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Connie (BUGEJA) DEMARCO, she came to Saint Thomas from Malta in 1948. Lorenza was a member of Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church. Beloved wife of the late Charles J. RUGGIER (1991.) Dearly loved mother of Rina JOHNSON and her husband Larry of Saint Thomas, Margaret SIDDALL and her husband Gary of Chatham, Mary NELLES of Straffordville, and Tony RUGGIER and his wife Rosemary of Saint Thomas. Dear sister of Joseph DEMARCO and his wife Carmela of London. Also fondly remembered by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lora RUGGIER, granddaughter, Caroline RUGGIER, son-in-law, Gerald NELLES, a sister, Mary DEMARCO and a brother, Francis DEMARCO. Together they ministered to 13 churches in the Atlantic provinces and Ontario, over a period of more than 40 years. Much loved mother of Paul and his wife Marilyn (Ottawa,) Joan and her husband Robert SIDER (Ridgeway) and Barbara and her husband Jim ANDERSON (London.) Loving grandmother of Heather (William ELLIS), Stephen (Robyn), Jennifer, Jeff, Jonathan (Laura), Jason, Karen and Kelly. Sister of Brig. Gordon HOLMES and aunt to several nieces and nephews and their families. Helen was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters and 7 brothers. Her winning smile, generous heart and deep love for her family made everyone who knew her, love her completely. Born December 8, 1907, died Thursday, March 30, 2006. Choosing to be outside instead of working around the house, he went out on a walk on a warm and sunny day. At 98 years of age he left a long life and a loving family, and joined his late wife Evelyn, daughter Marilyn and grand_son Derek. Among those who will miss him, he will be especially missed by his 92 year old brother Gerson, his son and daughter-in-law Bill and Maureen, daughter Beverley, in-laws Gaby and Mildred FALK, grandchildren Lawrie, Robert, Diana, Shawna, Sarah-Kelly, Becky, and Russell, and great-grandchildren David, Sidney, Payton, Cooper, Collette, Austin, Dana, Collin, Max, and Charlie.
