Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in his 83rd
year. Beloved husband of Barbara, devoted father of Karen, Leonard
(Lindy) and Stephen (Cathy), and dear grandpa of Nyssa, Nariko,
Midori, Bryan, Gregory and David. Loving brother of Hiroshi (Kay),
Tom (Ceo) and Grace

Predeceased by brothers Mitsuo and Richard. Fondly remembered
by his many nieces, nephews, family and Friends. Graduate of
the University of Alberta (Electrical Engineering) and long-time
employee of Canada Wire. Active member of the community in volunteering,
coaching sports and, most recently, the Japanese Canadian Cultural
Centre. An avid baseball fan, his other hobbies included bowling,
golfing, gardening and reading. Family and Friends will be received
at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (West
of Warden) on Friday, October 27 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration
of Life will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 11 a.m. in the
Highland Funeral Home Chapel, preceded by a one-hour visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Japanese Canadian
Cultural Centre, Momiji Health Centre or a charity of your choice.
Special thanks to all the caregivers at the North York General
Hospital.
