A resident of Chatham, Kenneth Edgar CRAWFORD passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Friday, December 22, 2006 at the age of 87. Born in Dover Township, son of the late Bruce and Lorraine (PROUDLOVE) CRAWFORD. Beloved husband of Jeannine (VERVAET) CRAWFORD for 54 years. Dear father of Eve SAKAI and her husband Dan of Burlington, Kevin CRAWFORD and his wife Linda of Chatham, Brad CRAWFORD and his wife Nancy of Chatham, and Scott CRAWFORD and his wife Kelly of Blenheim. Grandfather of Tammy SAKAI, Stuart SAKAI, Nick CRAWFORD, Natalie CRAWFORD, Tara CRAWFORD, Sean CRAWFORD, Justin PHIPPS, Ryan PHIPPS, Jennifer WALKER, Joel CRAWFORD, and predeceased by grand-daughter Jamie Lee WALKER (1997.) Brother of June DOYLE of Chatham, Eva SLOAN of Chatham, Reg and Joan CRAWFORD of Lucan, and the late Max CRAWFORD. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive Friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from Noon until 1: 30 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation with interment in Craford Cemetery, Raleigh Township. Loving "Usas" to grandchildren Renata, Daria, Vitas Jr., and great-grandchildren Audra, Marcus, Ava, Elena and Sophia and dear uncle to Remigius. With many memories the family announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie Ann MADILL, in her 100th year at Kelso Pines in Owen Sound, Ontario on Sunday, October 15, 2006. Loving wife for thirty-three years of the late Frank MADILL. Very special loving aunt of Velma and her husband Ron SMART and Jim BURROWS. Step-mother of Eileen and her husband Dave SAKER and Sylvia MADILL. Loving great aunt of Teresa and her husband Barry WAYMOUTH, Jennifer and her husband David GIBBONS, Victoria and her husband Andre GREER/GRIER, Tim SMART and Pam SMART. Loving grandma of Todd SAKER and his wife Colleen, Trevor SAKER and his wife Gillian, Jeff MADILL and his wife Lorenda, Rolanda KURMAN- MADILL and her husband Kelly. Special great-great-aunt of Adam, Allyson, Emily, Gavin, Jacob, Hannah, Brandon and Michael. Special great-grandma of Dylan, Thomas, Korbin and Byron. Marjorie taught school for forty-three years in and around Owen Sound and is fondly remembered by many former students. She spent her life caring, supporting, uplifting, teaching and giving to others. Marjorie will remain in our hearts forever.
