Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at home, with his family at his side, Monday, January 9th, 2006, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Jean BROCK. Loved father of Bob (Diane) LETSON of Guelph, Dianne (Tony) ROVERS of Owen Sound and Judy (Doug) KENNEDY of Guelph. Loving grandfather Kimberley, Chrissie, Mike, Jacquie, Stephen, Stephanie, Geri, Sheri, Robin, Tim and Tammy. Great grandfather of Matthew, Katie, Michael, Benedict, Thomas, Elizabeth, Rachel, Emily Anthony, Erick, Cameron, Kirstin, Kaleigh, Scott, Kaedence, Owen, Amy And Sarah. Woman killed, seven hurt in pileup
Four vehicles involved in fatal crash

A North Bay-area woman has died of injuries suffered in a four-vehicle collision north of Mount Forest late Wednesday afternoon.
Seven other people were sent to hospital following the crash, which killed Karen COFFIN of Powassan, south of North Bay.
Grey County Ontario Provincial Police officers are investigating the collision, which happened just north of Mount Forest at about 4: 30 p.m. and closed the highway for several hours.
COFFIN was driving north on Highway 6 in a 2002 Dodge van which collided with two southbound vehicles. Her son, Allan COFFIN, 16, was taken to Durham Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
Lionel ROGERS of Gatineau, Quebec, was driving southbound in a 1995 Jeep sport utility vehicle. His daughter Tina ROGERS, 12, was taken to Durham Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
Bradley CAMPBELL, 39, and passenger Karen MOORE, also 39, of Harriston, were sent to Hamilton General Hospital with unknown injuries. They were heading south in a 2000 Pontiac van. CAMPBELL's daughter; Erin CAMPBELL, 5, was sent to Durham Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
Garrit VANWOERKOM, 31, and passenger, Jacquie ROVERS, 31, both from Kitchener, were taken to Durham Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. They were in the fourth vehicle a southbound 1997 Chrysler which drove into the rear of CAMPBELL's van in the collision.
Police said the roads were wet at the time. An Ontario Provincial Police collision reconstruction team is helping with the investigation Grey County Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Thursday.

VERMEEREN, Gerardus
After a battle with cancer, God's choir of Angels have called home Gerardus VERMEEREN to join in his Heavenly chorus. Gerardus "Gerry" VERMEEREN of Tillsonburg on Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 69 years. Born in Holland, November 8, 1936, son of the late Gerard VERMEEREN and the later former Adriana STEVENS. He was a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg; the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Reverend Father Joseph M. Burke Assembly, Ingersoll, and Saint Mary's Knights of Columbus Council #3212, and the Senior Centre Choir, Tillsonburg. He came to Ingersoll in 1951 and was an employee of the Ford Motor Company in Talbotville for 31 years, retiring in 1999. Dear husband and best friend of 41 years of Merna (ROVERS) VERMEEREN. Loving father and father-in-law: Janet (Anthony) DRESCHER, R.R.#1, Otterville; John (Lori) VERMEEREN, London; Jennifer (Michael) COLLINS, Straffordville; Julie FINK, Tillsonburg. Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2006. "Cecil" Sietse A. DYKSTRA of Richmond in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Joan (HOWEY) DYKSTRA. Loving father of Frank DYKSTRA of Richmond, Catherine BRANDOW and husband Stephen of Orwell, Teresa VEITCH and husband Doug of R.R.#1, Eden, Marlene DYKSTRA and husband Stan CLARKE of R.R.#7, Aylmer and Barbara CARTER and husband Ed of R.R.#1, Aylmer. FEWSTER, Ronald George " Hawk"
Born December 30, 1949, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2006. He has left behind his family who will always remember him with love and lots of smiles. They are: His wife, best friend and soul mate Cathy; His mother, Gertie FEWSTER and her best friend, Spike LOGAN; His favourite father and mother-in-law, George and Verna RIFFEL; All who he considers his brothers and sisters: Al (Alfonse) and Marlene (WILSON) FEWSTER, Gary (SCROG) and Sue FEWSTER, Bruce (Rif) and Wendy (Wendell) RIFFEL Also all who he considers his nieces and nephews: Jess FEWSTER and Chris PEPPER, Tiffany FEWSTER and Moe MORRIS, Sarah FEWSTER and Jeff HEINBUCK, Amanda FEWSTER and Jay HORTON, Jody RIFFEL and Jamie RIFFEL, Chris ROVERS and Nick ROVERS Last but not least his beloved walking buddy Cali (his Goofy Dog). Woman killed, seven injured in Hwy. 6 crash

Mount Forest, Ontario -- A North Bay-area woman has died of injuries suffered in a four-vehicle collision north of Mount Forest.
Seven other people were sent to hospital following Wednesday afternoon's crash that killed Karen COFFIN of Powassan.
Police say COFFIN's northbound van collided with two southbound vehicles on Highway 6.

KONEFAL, Wladyslaw " Walter"
In his 72nd year, rode from this life to the next on January 3, 2006, near Hyde Park. Loved husband of Maria (née RUSIN.) Dear father of Stanley and Theresa (Burlington), Edward (Sausalito, California), Maria Katherine and William GLOVER (Saint Thomas), Michael (North Port, Florida), and Genevieve (London). Beloved grandfather of Richard and Stephanie KONEFAL, Sarah and Rebecca GLOVER, and Emmanuel, Aristotle, Anastasia and Sebastian KONEFAL- ROVITHIS. Survived by his brother Stanley KONEFAL, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stanley and Stella RUSIN, and other dear family and Friends. He was predeceased by his sister Sophie KRAWIEC. Born to a farming life in Kopcie, Poland, Walter and his family cherished their Polish heritage. In the early 1960's, Walter brought his young family to Toronto and then moved to London in the 1970's. In 1984, Walter and Maria returned to their roots on a 14 acre farm outside of London where Walter focused on his family. He enjoyed tending to his farm animals and his hobbies including mechanics and electronics. Even before successful heart surgery in 2004, Walter embraced a healthy lifestyle and continued with exercise to the end. Special thanks to the good samaritan who applied cardio-pulmonary resuscitation to this determined cyclist at the roadside. Resting at O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London, on Sunday, January 8, 2006, from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, London, on Monday at 10: 00 a.m. Internment St. Peter's Cemetery.
