RINDFLEISCH,
Campbell
L.
Campbell "
Cam"
L.
RINDFLEISCH, my dearest and most beloved husband,
gently passed away October 7 2006 at Princess Margaret Hospital,
at the age of 69. He is now resting peacefully where the good
Lord has prepared a special place for him. Always an optimist,
he defied the odds while struggling to remain with me and our
family as long as he could. During that time Cam often said,
'I now know the true meaning of the words, 'battling cancer'.
Cam is survived by me, Martha, daughters Jacqueline
MISZCZUK
and Tracey
MARSHALL, son Campbell
RINDFLEISCH and sister, Helen
DEXTER.
Cam will be sorrowfully missed by grandchildren, Raylin,
Robert, Adam, Ileah, Paige, Owen and niece Deborah and nephew
Douglas, as well as, Nigel
DEXTER, Robert
MISZCZUK, Tina
RINDFLEISCH,
Timothy MARSHALL; and Patrick
GURAN, Gloria
WILLER, David
GURAN,
Robyn and Andrea
GURAN, along with family, Friends and business
associates who knew him to be an extraordinary fair man in everything
he did. Cam's early scholastic years were spent at Trinity College,
Port Hope. He then went on to Sir George Williams University,
Montreal, and graduated with a B.Comm. Intrigued by the world
of finance he joined Merrill Lynch and attained his CSC
and NYSE, NASD, CBOT in New York in 1968. Cam's zest
for life in the business world continued and in 1975 he formed
one of three companies beginning with the film industry, followed
by a life insurance company and lastly a mutual fund dealership.
Cam became and was highly respected in the mutual fund industry
where we worked together for over 30 years and his entrepreneurship
was admired by those who knew him. He adhered to the rules of
honesty and integrity and car ved an impeccable reputation in
his business accomplishments by investing his personal time,
with a true spirit while helping others achieve their personal
and financial goals and dreams. He implemented this same diligent
philosophy in his day to day association with those who worked
with him. The hand of God created a pathway for us to meet, fall
madly in love with each other and become soul mates forever.
We were partners in business and in pleasure since 1975 and married
in 1985. Christmas was the highlight of the year for Cam who
sincerely enjoyed the family gatherings and the delight of giving.
We will all miss my beautiful, good natured, patient, Cam, who
openly shared his genuine and heartfelt love with me and the
family. A natural public speaker, Cam was also blessed with a
fabulous natural sense of humor that permeated those who came
within his circle. Cam loved sports, nature, being near the water,
and was devoted to fishing around the world with me always by
his side. Cam believed that happiness can be derived from the
simple things and practiced these values daily. He also focused
his attention on the fundamentals of life while developing a
perseverance that was visible in all of his future triumphs.
Family and Friends will be received at Murray Newbigging Funeral
Home, 733 Mt. Pleasant Rd., between 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, October 11. A memorial service and will be held on
Thursday at 2 p.m. A private family service will follow October 27
followed by interment at the final resting place at Saint_James
Cemetery and Crematorium. If desired, donations can be sent to
Princess Margaret Hospital, Palliative Care where Cam received
Tender Loving Care during the most poignant time in his life.
We are eternally grateful to all the compassionate, caring doctors,
nurses and staff for their professionalism, sensitivity, kindness
and attentiveness in our greatest time of need.
