On February 5, 2006, at North York General Hospital with his
family at his side. Beloved husband of Lillian for 60 years,
devoted father to Steve, Heather, daughter-in-law Barbara, and
adoring grandfather to Leah. An extraordinary man, George stood
out in his generation as a superior athlete in basketball and
baseball, winning Canadian and Ontario amateur championships.
A long time ardent lefty golfer at the Donalda Club, he also
enjoyed a sixty-year membership at the Bloor Y.M.H.A. participating
in daily exercise and running. He was a great fan of the Toronto
Argos holding season tickets for more than 50 years. George was
a Chartered Accountant for more than 60 years practising well
into his eighties with the same conviction and commitment to
people that characterized his entire life. His volunteer work
included a term of president of Beth El Synagogue. George was
an exceptional individual, never uttering a bad word about anyone,
and truly respected by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing
him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and civility and will
be profoundly missed by family and Friends. At Benjamin's Park
Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. West (three lights west of
Dufferin) for service on Wednesday, February 8th at 1: 30 p.m.
Donations to the Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated.

One killed in single car crash
One woman is dead and two other people are injured -- one critically
after the car they were in went out of control on a curve
and skidded into the ditch, hitting two trees and rolling over
on Sauble Falls Parkway at about 7 a.m. Saturday. The driver
of the Chevrolet Z24, 18-year-old Guelph resident Lyle
DOBBERTHEIN,
lost control of the car near Sauble Falls Road. He was ejected
from the vehicle on impact. He was transported to the Grey Bruce
Health Services Southampton site and was later taken to Owen
Sound where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The two female passengers were also ejected from the car. Melanie
PERRY; 15, of Fergus, and Kitti
RESTIVO, 18, of West Garafraxa
Township, were both rushed to Wiarton and later air-lifted to
London's
Victoria hospital.
RESTIVO died of her injuries Sunday.
PERRY remained in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

Passed away on November 1st, 2006 at Toronto Western Hospital
at the age of 91. Survived by his loving wife Diega and his children
Calogero, Joe, Grace, Maria, Carmen, Rosa and Ralph, along with

Salvatore was predeceased by his wife Pasqua, who passed away
in 1971. Salvatore was born in Racalmuto, Italy and arrived to
create a successful life in Toronto, Canada in 1965. He will

MASSEL, 70 of Shakespeare passed away in
Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, March 16th, 2006. He
was born in Saugeen, Ontario on August 26th, 1935 a
son of the

MASSEL and the former Vivian
LADD.
Tony was an equipment
operator with the Ministry of Transportation until his retirement
in April of 1996; he was a member of North and South Easthope
Volunteer Fire Department for twenty-two years where he had served
as Fire Chief; was a former member of Shakespeare Optimist Club
and a member of Shakespeare Presbyterian Church. He married the
former Marjorie Jean
KENNEDY at Meaford on December 22nd, 1955.
She predeceased him on June 27th, 2004. He is survived by two

After a year long battle with pancreatic cancer and taken from
us too soon, Ralph passed away peacefully at home on the morning
of Wednesday, May 31st, 2006. He is survived and will be dearly
missed by his family and many Friends. Devoted husband to his
high school sweetheart Irene and loving father to three children
Kim, Ann and Ted. Loving son to Kurt, son-in-law to Madeliene,
brother to Dan and brother-in-law to Rita. Supportive father-in-law
to Edward RESZETNIK and Lesley
KARON, and wonderful grandfather
to Grace, Ryan and Rebecca. Uncle to Irene and Kevin. Predeceased
by mother Irene. Born 1938, Ralph dedicated his life to work
and family. He obtained his C.A. designation and graduated from
Sir George Williams University with a degree in Economics. From
there he then attended Columbia University earning an M.B.A.
in Finance. Ralph successfully climbed the corporate latter to
the executive suite through corporations that included Arthur A.
Crowley and Co., Price Waterhouse and Co.; Exxon Corporation; Imperial
Oil; Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce; North American Life
Assurance; Prudential Insurance Company of America and Parmalat
Canada. Ralph retired in 2003. In addition to a successful and
busy career, Ralph was a devoted volunteer and supported his
neighbourhood church, Saint_John's York Mills Anglican Church,
as well as the United Way of Greater Toronto, the Red Cross Society,
The Toronto Symphony and the Toronto Board of Trade. An active
sportsman, Ralph enjoyed badminton, windsurfing, tennis and skiing.
For the past few years much of his retirement was spent north
of Toronto at the family cottage near Parry Sound. Ralph loved
to spend time there with family and Friends enjoying the outdoors
and "puttering" about. Thanks to Doctor Y.

In the early morning light of February 11, 2006, Mac went peacefully
in his sleep to join his beloved wife, Mary. "They walk together
on the white sands of their beautiful Barbados." He will be sadly
