The Family of the late Clark BROCK would like to express their sincere appreciation to families, Friends, co-workers, neighbours and Clark's business associates for their prayers, support, cards, masses, floral tributes, donations and food. We would like to thank the two Paramedic teams and Fire Fighters who tried so hard to help Clark. To the University Hospital emergency staff for their efforts and support. To Paul NEEDHAM and the Westview Chapel staff who made a difficult time easier. To Fr. Bob REMARK and Terry GALLIVAN for their spiritual guidance and heartfelt service. Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2006, surrounded by his family. Mr. Leonardo Tavares LOPES in his 61st year. Born in Sao Miguel, Acores, he was the son of Maria dos Anjos TAVARES and the late Jose Tavares Pereira LOPES. Beloved husband of Maria de Lourdes Sousa (REMEDIOS) LOPES. Loving father of Ana-Paula MATTHEWS (Christopher) of Maple and Sandra VARAO (David) of London. Devoted grandfather of Laura Marie MATTHEWS. Loving brother of Joao Luis PEREIRA, Jeremias LOPES, Francisco LOPES, Fatima PEREIRA, Ricardo LOPES, Libeirio LOPES, Carlos PEREIRA, Hermano LOPES, Antonio PENEIRA and Eduardo LOPES. Best friend and "brother" of Frank FRASER. Sadly missed by his siblings' spouses, his godchildren, nieces, nephews and many Friends. It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Rosa D'UVA at the age of 78 years, with her loving family by her side, God called her home on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Leisureworld Brampton Woods. She will be reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Eugenio. She will be fondly remembered by her children Mike and Gilda D'UVA, Erminia and Angelo D'UVA, Carmelina and Giuseppe REMIGIO, Achille and Antonietta D'UVA. A devoted and wonderful Nonna to 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Loving sister to Maria YACCA, Antonietta NOTTE (deceased) and Nicolina DITTA. She will be remembered for her generosity, love of family and passion for cooking. Loved grandmother of ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Allen,) Ruth SHEILDS and sister-in-law of Thelma YEO all of Innerkip. Dear mother and mother-in-law of: Linda REMLER, Nova Scotia; Erich and Crystal REMLER, R.R.#6, Tillsonburg. Proud grandmother of three grandchildren: Jasha, Brooke and Pierce. Also survived by family members John and Dorothy EPPEL and Joe and Julianna EPPEL, all of R.R.#1 Courtland. Mary has lived in the area since 1948 and was a member of St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Courtland and a member of the Delhi District German Home Ladies Auxiliary and a shareholder. He was a devoted husband to Sandra (née DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS) a loving father to daughters Kate BALLAGH- STEEPER (Kevin,) and Jennifer STRONG (Greg.) He was a doting grandfather to his four beautiful grand daughters of whom he was so proud; Martha and Maggie STEEPER, Amelia and Sydney STRONG. Predeceased by parents, Leslie and Dora BALLAGH; sisters Marion MARQUARDT (Harold) and Joan PRICE (Bob) and brother-in-law Tom HILS. Survived by sister Alice REMPEL (Victoria, British Columbia,) sister-in-law Judith HILS and nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his wit, integrity and sincerity.
