Peacefully at home, after a hard fought battle with cancer, on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, G.D. (Shyam) NADKARNI, beloved husband of Meena, proud and loving father and father-in-law of Lavita and Michael of Denver, Colorado. and Neil and Natasha of Columbia, South Carolina. Much loved "Aba" of Kaeya, Griffin and Maya. A man of deep faith, lover of golf, history, travel, world affairs, and a gourmet cook, Shyam lived a full life and was actively involved in many charitable and social organizations around Toronto and Mississauga. Visitation for Friends at the G. H Hogle Funeral Homes "Mimico Chapel", Etobicoke (416-251-7531) on Thursday, February 2nd between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 3rd at the same location, followed by cremation after Hindu rites at Saint John's Dixie Crematorium, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga. JAMES " LUCK" RALPH TILSTON
In loving memory of James "Luck" Ralph Tilston, who passed away peacefully
on his beloved Manitoulin Island on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the age of
92. Luck taught grade school for many years, in Budges, Sheguiandah and
Little Current. He had a life filled with adventures and enterprises, such
as farming, restaurant owner and trucker. He was a private, quiet man, who
chose his words with care. He wrote many poems that were shared in the
Expositor. He enjoyed a simple life and never wanted to leave his Island
roots, except for brief excursions. Born to Ellen Isabelle (née Grierson)
and William Beresford Tilston on March 2, 1914. Predeceased by his beloved
wife Vivian Frances (née Sim) Tilston (November 15, 2002). Loved by his
children Jane Tilston (David Pellerin) of Elliot Lake, Jim and wife Louise
of California and son Christopher (predeceased 1963). Forever remembered by
grandchildren Heather Kiedyk of Tavistock, Lara Kiedyk Fraser (husband Jeff)
of Mt. Brydges, Andrew R.L. Keidyk (wife Tammy) of Barrie, Carey Jane
Fiorello (John), Chancey Tilston, Shannon Tilston, Jamie Tilston, all of
California. Special great grandfather of Brandon and Courtney Keidyk, Keiran
and Braeden Fraser, Alyssa, Giovanni and Mia Fiorello. Being the youngest in
his family he is predeceased by all his siblings Pat and husband Alf
Sellers, John Tilston, George and wife Lorna Tilston. Survived by two
sister-in-laws Ann and Christine Tilston, both of B.C. and Vivan's family,
Grenville (predeceased) and wife Cecelia Sim, Mildred (Sim) and Perc
Sparling, both predeceased, James and Gene Sim, both predeceased, Hilda Sim
Heberer (predeceased), Grant Sim (predeceased). Sadly missed by his nieces
and nephews especially by nephew Peter Tilston. Visitation was 2 - 4 and 7 -
9, Sunday. Funeral Service was at 2 pm, Monday, March 20, 2006 at St. Paul's
Anglican Church, Manitowaning, Ontario, the Reverend Canon Bain Peever
officiating. Burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements in
care of Island Funeral Home, Little Current, Ontario.

Predeceased by her sister Raeline RALPH (1998.) Dear granddaughter of Virginia BOLLIS. Beloved daughter of Frank and Doreen RUTTER. She will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Friends. Visitors will be received at John T. Beloved husband of Margaret Maxwell RALPH (nee McIVOR) for 57 years. Loving father of George and his wife Peggy of North Bay and Peter and his wife Irene of Perkinsfield. Grandpa will be greatly missed by George and Michael, Daniel and Shannon, and great-grand_son Javan. Dear brother of Jim and his wife Joyce of North Bay, sisters Maude and Harriet of Toronto and sister-in-law Lois of North Bay. Cremation has taken place. Passed away February 12, 2006 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease, in his 85th year. Bill was known as one of the "3 Amigos" who co-founded the Shell Association of Retirees (Ontario Branch). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Eirona, sons Bryan, Dave, Mike and Robbie, daughters-in-law Linda, Sharon and Gabi, grandchildren Chris, Scott, Ryan, Lara, Rene, Mick, Kevin, Curtis, and Becky, and great-grandchildren Mara and Breydon. Survived by his dear sister Muriel (Edmonton) and brother Robert (Toronto). Predeceased by his beloved sister Helen. Born in Durham, Ontario, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. PRATT. Childhood sweetheart, best friend and devoted husband of Madeline Catton PRATT for 58 yrs. Dear father of Paul, David and his wife Carol, Dianne and her husband Bruce WICKENS. Loving grandfather of Sherry, Chad and his wife Marnie, Steve, Jeffrey and his wife Jen and Tyler. Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren Michael, Tyson, Nathan, Jayden, Paige, Landon and Parker. Also remembered by his special family James, Deborah and David MORRIS.
