Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Karolina. Much loved father to Cathie (Ed) SKRLJ, Irene (Peter) RAK and Martina (John) KUMER. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sarah, Thomas, Leah, Mitchell, Nicole, Anna, Lukas, Carla, Andrea and Evan. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2006 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital, Miro, beloved husband of Tilka. Dear loving father of Carol RAK (Michael) and Peter RAK (Irene.) Dear grandfather of Mitchell, Nicole, Madeleine, Emma, Tess and Anna. Sadly missed by his sister Ani ZUMER (late Frank) and his brothers Vincent (Ani) and Max (Meta). Predeceased by his brother Ivan (Tinka). Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Cremation to follow. Passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the age of 82. Reunited with his loving wife Barbara and dear son Steve. Beloved father of Joe (Ginny), John (Michele) and father-in-law to Joanne. Devoted grandfather of Christopher, Melissa, Alicia and Kurt. Survived by his brother Steve (Marica). He will be deeply missed by all. Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, Ontario. With his family by his side at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Sunday, November 19, 2006. Konrad STICKEL of R.R.#1, Straffordville in his 76th year. Beloved husband of 51 years of Katie (RAKOSCHI) STICKEL. Dear father of Irene STICKEL- RUHLMAN and husband Philip of Kitchener and Bob STICKEL of Straffordville. Loving Opa of Tasha CONNELL, Ali STICKEL and Cassie STICKEL. Also survived by his step-mother Katharina HORETH, his mother-in-law Katie RAKOSCHI and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Katie DAHMER and his step-brother Imre KILDAU. Born in Mayaro Pusta, Hungary on September 27, 1931 son of the late Konrad and Katharina (EHL) STICKEL. He was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Konrad was a proud tobacco farmer for many years who brought his many talents to improve the farm's operations. We'll miss his contributions and opinions. Friends may call at the H.A. At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, April 24, 2006. Helmut TINNES of Aylmer in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Emma (LEHMANN) TINNES. Dear father of Helmut TINNES and his wife Teresa of Kitchener and George TINNES and his wife Aristie of New Market. Loved by his granddaughter Emily TINNES and step grand_sons Christopher and James PAGE. Predeceased by a brother George TINNES. Born in Gros-Eidau, Romania, October 2, 1926, son of the late George and Maria (RAKOSI) TINNES. Helmut came to Canada in 1954. He was a music teacher and a member of Trinity Anglican Church.
