Died peacefully on June 26th, 2006, of complications following
a motorcycle accident three weeks ago. He leaves his wife and
fellow adventurer, Joan
WILSON, and their children Claire and
Timothy (Kelowna), his brother Douglas and his children Jason
and Tara (Nanaimo,) his special cousin Gwen

and Joan's family Robert (Duncan), Patrick and Emily (Victoria),
and Cindy, Tyler and Cameron (Campbell River) and many, many
Friends and associates. Recently retired, Gerry was a 30+ year
veteran of the British Columbia health care community working
in Vancouver, New Westminster, Victoria, Kelowna and, latterly,
for the Interior Health Authority. A former naval officer, Gerry
was a classic motorcycle enthusiast and travelled the world following
that passion. His moustached and sunglassed face was a familiar
sight behind the wheel of his beloved
MGB during the summer and
he was a regular at Telemark Cross Country Ski Club in the winter
months. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, 2 July at 2 p.m.
at The Cathedral Church of Saint Michael and All Angels, 608 Sutherland
Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, please

playing bingo twice a week and spending time with her family.
