World War II Veteran with the Royal Canadian Engineers.
Went Home to be with the Lord peacefully with his loving family present at Strathaven Lifecare Centre on Monday, January 30th, 2006 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his parents John Edgar and Rebecca (BOWYER) TUPLING. Survived by his devoted love, soulmate and wife of 62 years, Joan M. TUPLING (KIRKLAND,) World War 2 Veteran with the Canadian Air Force. Dear father of Valerie J. WELLS of Waterloo (predeceased Doug) and fiancée John STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Mississauga; Jack C. TUPLING and wife Susan of London and Wendy L. HARRIS and husband Ronald of Bowmanville. Clarence will be sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one on the way, sister Kathryn POGSON (predeceased William) of Willowdale, sister-in-law Patricia KIRKLAND of Scarborough and life long Friends. Predeceased his brothers Cloy, Edgar and Delmar and sisters Evelyn RAE and Irene CAMPBELL. Visitation will be held at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville on Saturday, February 4th, 2006 from 1-3 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. POGUE, Frank H.
Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, November 24, 2006 Frank H. POGUE of Belmont in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Joan (née SMITH) for 51 years. Loving father of Paul POGUE (Diana) and Ann POGUE (Stan JACOB) all of London and Greg POGUE (Marisa) of Coquitlam, British Columbia. Proud grandfather of Dayna, Stephanie, Jordan; Christopher, Erin, Elizabeth, and Robert. Dear brother of Jean GODSOE, Ray POGUE (Margaret), Freeman POGUE, Freda BUCHANAN (Larry), Clare POGUE (Helen,) Keith POGUE (Robin) and predeceased by brothers John, Roy and twin-brother Fred. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Ruth POGUE and June POGUE, and his aunt Audrey STEPHENSON. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank was a member of the Canadian Power Squadron and was an Instructor with the London Power Squadron. He devoted more than a half century to his career in heating and air conditioning, both as an independent contractor and as a salesman. Frank will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, his sense of humour and his zest for living. Friends and family will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, Dorchester on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Belmont United Church, Belmont on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1: 00 p.m. Interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are gratefully acknowledged.

Suddenly in her sleep at her cottage near Perth, Ontario, on Tuesday, September 19th, 2006, Margaret Lenore HENRY,, B.Sc. H.Ec. (MacDonald Institute '52), in her 78th year. Margaret was the beloved wife of G. Howard HENRY of Guelph; loved mother of Catherine (Andrew) MacRAE of Whitby, George HENRY of Mississauga and Jane (Brian POGUE) HENRY of Hanover, New Hampshire; cherished grandmother of Laura and Heather MacRAE and Colin and Clayton POGUE. Margaret was the loved sister of Howard (Donna) FLEMING/FLEMMING of London and sister-in-law of Elaine FLEMING/FLEMMING of Perth; her brother Paul FLEMING/FLEMMING of Perth suddenly predeceased her by three days on September 16th, 2006. She will be sadly missed by all her family and many Friends both in Guelph and Perth. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth, on Friday, September 22nd, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Private interment will follow at a later date in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, November 24th, 2006. Devoted husband to Edna (POGUE) for 60 years and beloved father to the late Ronald and wife Lorna, Donald and wife Megan, John, Lynne and Roger. Loving Grandfather of Alexis, Kim, Ronald, Amanda, Matthew, Marcia, Catherine, Nathan, the late Carrie, Eric and Ryan. Brother to Ellice, the late Esther and the late Birger. A memorial service for family and Friends will be held at Pine Hills Visitation Chapel And Reception Centre (625 Birchmount Road, North of St. Clair 416-2678229) on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. with Friends gathering one hour prior and reception to follow. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
