College of Osteopathic Medicine (Missouri) with post graduate
specialization in Pediatrics from the Philadelphia College of
Osteopathy (Pennsylvania). She maintained a private practice
from her downtown Toronto office for over 50 years. "Dr. Rose"
also served as a communication officer with the Canadian Armed
Forces during World War 2 and was stationed in Halifax, Nova
Scotia. She is survived by her beloved brother, Father Gerald
POCOCK of Ottawa and her dearest sister-in-law Jean (Mrs. Neil)
POCOCK of London. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces:

Bill was known for his kindness and gentlemanly ways, his cheerful
nature and well developed sense of humour. His "mild little stories"
as he called them, delighted us all. His was a life well-lived.
He knew how to take delight in the myriad of small daily happenings.
It was a wonderful instruction for all who came in contact with
him. Bill enlisted in the Canadian Army at age seventeen, was
shipped to England in 1944 and saw service in Holland. He was
a graduate of the University of Toronto and
of Osgoode Hall Law
School, and began law practice in Sarnia in his father's law
firm in 1952. Bill was devoted to his practice until he retired
last March. He was an enthusiastic curler and golfer at the Sarnia
Golf and Curling Club where he was a long time member. Memorial
donations may be made either to Lambton Wildlife Inc., P.O. Box 681,
Sarnia, Ontario N7T 7J7, or to a charity of your choice. Visitation
at the Stewart Funeral Home, 254 George Street, Sarnia, Tuesday,
