Patrick PAIBOMSAI
In memory of Patrick Paibomsai, July 26, 1931 to May 12, 2006. Patrick was a
humourous man, he was witty and a practical joker. He was passionate about
hockey, playing in younger days, and watching in later. He loved being on
the land, trapping, hunting, fishing and gardening. Known "Uncle" to the
Birch Island Community, he will be sadly missed by his surviving brother
Simon, many nieces and nephews, family and Friends. Predeceased by his
parents John and Mary Jane and other siblings Victoria, Theresa, Franklin,
Elizabeth, Margaret, Clara, Nicholas and Andrew. Visitation was from 3: 30
pm, Saturday. Funeral Service was at 11 am, Monday, May 15, 2006 at Birch
Island Community Centre. Burial at Birch Island Cemetery. Arrangements in
care of Island Funeral Home.

Suddenly on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 Donald Gale HUMPHREY in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (PAICE) of 51 years. Dearly loved by his three daughters Linda BURROWS, Lori and Boris NOSKO, Sandra and Peter MASTROLACASA. Dear grandpa of Brant, Casandra, Nicole, Kyle, Shaun, Nick and great-grandfather of Brady, Big brother of Robert and his wife Carol of Peterborough and Lynne CLARK and her husband William of London. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Daisy HUMPHREY. Donald was a long time participant member of the Crumlin Sportsman's Association. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by his wife Patricia, children David, Nancy (Alan SEMCHUK,) Douglas (Jodi YOUNG) and Michael, three grandchildren Claire, Lisa and Adam SEMCHUK, sister Dorothy (Gordon PAINE,) brother Harold (a.k.a. Bus,) brother-in-law Allan MEALY etc. Predeceased by his father Doctor Jasper Brett STILL in 1932, mother Frances Bessie Lobb (née GUY) in 1973, sister Carol Bessie TAILOR/TAYLOR in 2002 and sister-in-law H. Clare Kennedy STILL in 2003. Jasper was born in Winnipeg on October 18, 1923. He started his career in the insurance business with Morgan Nicholson which was interrupted by his service in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the second world war. He was awarded simultaneously the Silkworm Pin and membership in the Goldfish Club because he parachuted into the North Sea. After the war, he operated the insurance business Warren, Still and Johnstone Limited. He was involved in the Wartime Pilots Observers Association, the Masonic Lodge and the St. Andrew's Society. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, November 3 in Winnipeg. Flowers are graciously declined. Suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 14, 2006, Bob BOORMAN of Iona Station in his 62nd year. Dearly loved husband of Maureen (PAINTER.) Loving father and friend to his son Scott (Rachel,) and Kim BOYLE (Darrin.) Dearly loved papa to Kaylah, Teagan and Ashton of London, Ontario. Uncle Tom of Toronto. Beloved brother of Phyllis McEVOY of Stoney Creek, Thelma POWELL (Dave,) and Jack BOORMAN (Shirley) all of London. He leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Bob so dearly enjoyed his retirement in Iona Station, he felt he had truly "come home" when he settled on "the line" silver clay. The wonderful people who live here truly brought him happiness. Mourning his passing is his "best friend" his dog Murphy. Bob was a retired employee of T.H.&B. and C.P.R. He worked his last few years in Calgary. He leaves behind many wonderful Friends in Calgary and Buena Vista, Viginia. Passed away July 1, 2006, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus. Peter was born 83 years ago, May 9, 1923, in Betola, Macedonia, (just north of Greece) to his late parents Velika (MITSOVICH) and John PAISIOVICH. Peter is predeceased by his wife Catherine Mary (DESAULNIER) as well as a daughter Donna Jean. Surviving are his children Mary Judith SHILLINGTON, Alex PAISIOVICH, Pando Peter Jr. PAISIOVICH, George Perry PAISIOVICH and Cheryl Ann ROSE. Peter is predeceased by a sister Bonnie and by brothers Mike and Alex. A former Blenheim "Citizen of the Year", Peter was also an active member of Kent Lodge No. 274 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons and was originally a member of Victory Lodge in Chatham, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, the Blenheim Shrine Club, Past Master of the Royal Arch in Blenheim, Past Patron of the Eastern Star Blenheim, Past Watchman o'Shepherds of the White Shrine, Past member of the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, Kent County Tourist Association, former owner of the old Del Mar Restaurant, Past Director of the St. Clair Development Council, Co-founder of Uncle Tom's Cabin museum, Past President of the Blenheim and District Chamber of Commerce, Past Reeve for the Town of Blenheim, President of the Number 3 Highway Association (later re-named the Talbot Trail), Past President of the Chatham Restaurant Association, President of Del Mar Foods Ltd., Past President of the Progressive Conservative Association for the riding of Kent-Elgin, Past Director of the Kent County Children's Aid Society, Past Chairman of the Talbot Trail Association, Past President of the Essex-Kent Federal Conservative Party and Charter President of the Blenheim Historical Society. Passed away July 1, 2006 at London Health Sciences Center, University Campus, Peter was born 83 years ago May 9, 1923, in Betoia, Macedonia (just north of Greece) to his late parents Velika (Mitsovich) and John PAISIOVICH. Peter is predeceased by his wife Catherine Mary (DESAULNIER) as well as a daughter Donna Jean. Surviving are his children Mary Judith SHILLINGTON. Alex PAISIOVICH, Pando Peter Jr. PAISIOVICH, George Perry PAISIOVICH, and Cheryl Ann ROSE. Peter is predeceased by a sister Bonnie and by brothers Mike and Alex. A former Blenheim "Citizen of the Year". Peter was also an active member of Kent Lodge No. 274 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons and was originally a member of Victory Lodge in Chatham, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, the Blenheim Shrine Club, Past Master of the Royal Arch in Blenheim, Past Patron of the Eastern Star Blenheim, Past Watchman o'Shepherds of the White Shrine, Past member of the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, Kent County Tourist Association, former owner of the old Del Mar Restaurant, Past Director of the St. Clair Development Council, Co-founder of Uncle Tom's Cabin museum, Past Director of the Blenheim and District Chamber of Commerce, Past Reeve for the Town of Blenheim, President of the Number 3 Highway Association (later re-named the Talbot Trail), Past President of the Chatham Restaurant Association, President of Del Mar Foods Ltd., Past President of the Progressive Conservative Association for the riding of Kent-Elgin, Past Director of the Kent County Children's Aid Society, Past Chairman of the Talbot Trail Association, Past President of the Essex-Kent Federal Conservative Party, Charter President of the Blenheim Historical Society. At Peter's request, cremation has taken place. A Cemetery Service celebrating Peter's life will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2006, 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Friends are asked to meet at the Legion Memorial Chapel prior to the service. Following the Cemetery Service, Friends are invited to a reception at the Blenheim Masonic Lodge. Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Peter are asked to consider the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario, or the charity of one's choice.
