Suddenly on April 24, 2006 at North York General Hospital, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Donna, and of David. She will be dearly missed by her grand_sons Chris, Andrew, Bryan, and Scott. Survived by her brother Collin. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Ward Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers or donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Tilbury Manor Nursing Home, on Saturday April 15, 2006 at the age of 91. Born in Moline, Illinois, October 12, 1914, daughter of the late Gustaaf and Leona (COPPENS) VAN ACKER. Rachel later moved to Leamington and Simcoe before making R.R.#3 Thamesville their permanent home. Beloved wife of the late Frans "Frank" VAN DER PAELT (2002.) Surviving is a daughter Marilyn and Kenneth HERMAN of Ruthven, a son Joe and Martha VAN DER PAELT of R.R.#3 Thamesville, grand_sons Ronald and Sarah VAN DER PAELT of Chatham, Jeffrey and Carolyn VAN DER PAELT of Thamesville, and grandaughter Cindy and Dennis DAMPHOUSSE of B.C.. She will be sadly missed by great-grandchildren Brittany, Jeremy, Zachary, Madeline, and Nicholas. Dear sister of Joseph and Ruth VAN ACKER of Michigan, Philip VAN ACKER of North Carolina and Louis and Margaret VAN ACKER of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a daughter Leona and her husband Remie VAN HOVE, sister Marie NOPPE, brothers Rene, Edward, and Frank VAN ACKER. The VAN DER PAELT family will receive Friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville on Tuesday April 18, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Fr. Andy DWYER as Celebrant. Interment Saint Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Peacefully, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario, on Thursday, March 30th, 2006 after an arduous struggle with cancer, with her beloved son Nathan and cherished daughter-in-law Rose (nee CRANNEY) holding her hands, Anne-Lee PAEMURD of London passed away at the age of 52. Daughter of Elsa PAEMURD and the late Erald PAEMURD of Hamilton. She leaves behind the joy of her life, granddaughter Alexa PAEMURD. Anne was a dedicated employee at the London Health Sciences Centre for over 20 years. She was a creative, caring, and compassionate woman who enjoyed painting and all the arts, nature walks with Friends and pets, music, and was an avid book reader. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 3rd, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Anne-Lee are asked to consider Amnesty International.

At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday July 7, 2006, G. Russell GEE of Norwich in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (COOPER) for 52 years. Loving father of Doug, Donna and husband Ernie KIRK, Kathy and husband Michael SMITH, Cheryl ROHRER, all of Norwich, Sue and husband Joe DE PAEPE of Langton. He will be missed by his grandchildren Melissa and Jamie TIRVA, Andrew ROHRER, Adam and Jessica SMITH, and great grandchildren Dorien and Taylor RICHES and Lauren HEMINGWAY. Brother of Marion and husband Bernard JAMIESON of London. Also missed by dear Friends Clarke and Brenda SMITH. Predeceased by granddaughter Pamela TIRVA, brother Aubrey, sisters Margaret and husband Fred WATSON, Bernice and husband Fred LONSBARY. Russ worked at the Co-op in Norwich for 28 years. Friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to celebrate Russ' life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday July 11th at 11: 00 a.m. with Vi SACKRIDER officiating.
