Passed away peacefully in her 96th year, on March 18, 2006, at
the Wexford Residence. She will be sadly missed by her 7 children,
25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her
life will be held at 2: 30 p.m. March 25, 2006 at Paul O'Connor

Ilderton and 2 brothers in Holland and 1 in California. Sadly
missed by 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and a number
of nieces and nephews. James was born in Holland on January 27,
1926, the son of the late William and Elizabeth
(OOMS)
LUYKS.
He came to Canada in 1950 and was a retired farmer. He was a
member of Holy Angels' Church. James served with the Dutch Army
during World War II in Indonesia. Resting at Williams Funeral
Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Thursday morning and then
to Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will
be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels'
Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will
be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7: 00 p.m.
Remembrances may be made to the Holy Angels' Church Restoration
Fund.
