At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 at the age of 85 years, Poag CHRISTMANN of Port Elgin. Husband of the former Donna ARMSTRONG. Father of Paul Phillip and his wife Laurie of Oshawa, Mark Jay of Toronto and Jon Brent of Port Elgin. Brother of Lillian HEARD, and Bruce and his wife Anna, all of Port Elgin. A resident of Chatham, Dorine Susan MARSHALL passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday April 23, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Born in Chatham Township, Kent County daughter of the late Napoleon "Jack" and Susan "Susie" LAPRESE) FAUBERT. Beloved wife of the late Russell Wilbert MARSHALL (1994.) Mother of Gary and Barbara MARSHALL of Calgary, Alberta and Nancy and Jim MINCHIN of Chatham. O'LEARY, Ruth
Our mother and friend, passed away May 10, 2006, just five days shy of her 90th birthday. Ruth will be fondly remembered as an adventurous soul with a generous smile. She was a traveler at heart and she took every opportunity to do so. Ruth loved to garden, and was especially fond of roses. She loved animals, and always had dogs and cats in her household. Ruth has four children and their families to carry her memory: Dennis O'LEARY and his wife Betty of Kingsville, Ontario, Patrick O'LEARY of Pleasantville, California, Jim O'LEARY and his wife Jan of Val Caron, Ontario, Ann HONCHELL and her husband Andy of Rifle, Colorado and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren will smile when they remember her. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron for their outstanding and loving care. A memorial service will be held at Lougheed Funeral Home, Val Caron/Blezard Valley Chapel on Main St. in Val Caron on Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. Friends may gather after 1: 30 p.m. Saturday. Donations to the Elizabeth Centre Residence Council, Val Caron would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

O'LEARY, Beverly Walter
Passed away at Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in his 82nd year. son of the late Helen and Charles O'LEARY, and brother of Margaret GEDDES (late Walter) of Woodstock. Beverly leaves behind his loved ones, wife Evelyn (née GRACEY,) four sons, Jim (Terri), Mike (Arlene) and John (Laurie) all of Woodstock, and Robert of Dubai, and one daughter Maureen WHITEHEAD (Terry) of Stratford. There are nine grandchildren, Jodi (Rob), Daniel, Jonathan, Joshua, Jamie, Nash, Nicole, Regan and Jack, and two great-grandchildren Brendan and Ty. After serving in the Second World War, he was employed at Maple Dairy, Oxford Regional Centre and Canada Post. He was a member of the Downs Golf Club, Seniors Curling Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 55, and Central United Church. Heartfelt thanks to the medical staff on the 4th floor of Woodstock General Hospital and our wonderful Friends. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock Friday, October 20, 2006, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be held, followed by cremation and interment later at Hillview Cemetery. On the evening of May 18, 2006 surrounded by her loving family, her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren. Isaleen died as she lived her life, with grace and dignity. Beloved wife of Lachlan (May 12, 1998.) Loving mother of Camilla (Bruce MARTIN,) Rosanne (John KUHLMANN), Jamie (Janette SANTI), Rod (Kim BECKSTEAD) and Kathy (George McKENNA.) Beloved grandma to 17 wonderful grandchildren, Scott and Nicola MARTIN, Jennifer, Emily, David, Kevin, Colleen and Michael KUHLMANN, Laura, Andrea, and Alexander BOWIE, Matthew, Jaylyn and Patrick BOWIE, Mark, Alena and Austin McKENNA. Peacefully, with his loving family at his side on Sunday, December 17th, 2006 at Mount Sinai Hospital, in his 64th year. Beloved husband and adored best friend of Ginny for 19 years. Loving dad of James and his wife Susan of Ottawa and John and his wife Jenny of Atlanta. Adoring 'Poppa' to Connor and Hannah. Gord is survived by his sisters-in-law Judy (Paul O'LEARY,) Diane (Robert KENNEDY,) and brother-in-law Peter STAPLES (Kathy,) nieces Jennifer and Amy and nephew Robert. Beloved son-in-law of Sheila STAPLES. Gord held the positions of president and Chief Executive Officer of 6 major companies where his innovative management style and commitment to the retail industry contributed to their success. Loving mother of William (Eleanor) BAGSHAW of Uxbridge, Linda (Eric) WADDILOVE of Leamington, and Douglas (Janet) BAGSHAW of Pickering. Predeceased by one daughter Barbara STODDART (1998.) Dearly remembered by three sisters Evelyn LOVELACE of Peterborough, Marion (Raymond) SCOTT of Belleville and Bertha PORTMAN of Clarkson, six grandchildren, Pam, Robert and Timothy DIKE, Karen (Dennis) O'LEARY, Bill (Carol LINGNER) BAGSHAW and Richard (Elizabeth) BAGSHAW. LYNCH, Reverend Joseph Michael

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 16, 2006 in his 92nd year. son of the late Thomas LYNCH and Hannah O'LEARY. Predeceased by his sisters Julia (Mrs. James DINNER), Mary (Mrs. Vincent O'TOOLE), Kathleen (Reverend Sister Rosamond), Ella (Mrs. James LYNETT), Anna (Mrs. Leigh HUNT), Josephine (Mrs. Cyril COUGHLIN,) and by his brothers Frank, and Reverend Patrick J. LYNCH. He will be sadly missed by his many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Father LYNCH attended St. Joseph's School, Otonabee, St. Peter's High School, and St. Augustine's Seminary in Toronto where he was ordained priest on May 30th, 1942. He celebrated his first mass at Sacred Heart Church, Peterborough, assisted by his brother, Reverend Patrick LYNCH, and his uncles, Reverend Dean O'LEARY of Saskatoon, and Reverend Dean M.J. O'LEARY of Bracebridge. Father LYNCH served in several parishes throughout the Peterborough Diocese as well as serving as Chaplain in the Royal Canadian Air Force He has resided in Rubidge Hall the last few years of his retirement. Father LYNCH will Lie-in-State in the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains, Peterborough, on Sunday from 2: 00-8:00 p.m. (Office of the Dead 7:00 p.m.) Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Joseph MORAN officiating, concelebrated by his brother Priests of the Peterborough Diocese. PERRY, David George (1962-2006)
David George PERRY, in his 45th year, died of cancer on Wednesday, October 4, in Parry Sound, Ontario, surrounded by his family and cherished Friends. David was the eldest son of Peter and Judy PERRY of Collingwood, Ontario; father of Christopher OLESEN partner of Patti MOREL; brother of Jane (Patrick TETI,) Alison (Douglas MOGGACH) and Cullen (Michele;) and uncle of Iain and Catriona MOGGACH, and Graham, Emma and Rowan PERRY. David was a much-loved and respected teacher at Rosseau Lake College. No academic or physical challenge was beyond him. He was a graduate of Lakefield College School, York University and Georgian College (Marine Engineering). David was a former captain of the brigantines Sail Training Vessel Playfair and Pathfinder, to mention just one of his many skills and achievements. At David's request, a celebration of his life will take place at Rosseau Lake College, a school he loved deeply. This will be held on Sunday October 22nd, commencing at 11: 00 a.m. All are invited. A room will be dedicated to David's memory in the school's new academic building to be constructed early next year. Friends wishing to remember David with a contribution may send it (marked 'Perry Memorial') to Rosseau Lake College, Rosseau, Ontario, P0C 1J0.
