Pioneer in Community Health Development in Uganda and longtime
contributing and valued employee of Ministry of Health, Ontario,
passed away in Oakville, May 05, 2006. Widely recognized for
work in global organizations such as G.E.M.S. Int'l, A.M.R.E.F.
(Kenya), World Vision, World Health Organization, Young Women's
Christian Association, and C.P.A.R. (physicians working in war-torn
countries). Founding member of Ugandan Martyrs Church (Toronto),
and Masooli-Kitettika Learning Centre (Uganda), assisting A.I.D.S.-orphaned
youth. A courageous, joyful, adventurous woman of faith. Loving
and much-loved mother and grandmother, sister and friend. Donations
to Misooli-Kitettika Centre c/o Trafalgar Presbyterian Church
sincerely appreciated. Visitation at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds
Street, Oakville, on Tuesday, May 9 from 6-9 p.m. Celebration
of Joyce's life at Trafalgar Presbyterian Church (905 842-2800),
354 Upper Middle Road East, Oakville, Ontario (exit Trafalgar
