Suddenly, with his loving family at his side on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (née NOY,) for over 52 years. Loving and devoted father of Chris (Kathy,) Cynthia (Randy BENSON,) and Cheryl (Jim ISADAS.) Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Robin, Thomas, Eric, and Julian. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 8th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be celebrated at Newtonbrook United Church (53 Cummer Avenue, M2M 2E5, 416-222-5417), on Thursday, March 9th, 2006 at 11 o'clock. Suddenly, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, April 29, 2006 F. Bruce GRUNDY of R.R.#1 Mount Elgin (Dereham Centre) in his 67th year. Proprietor of BK Services and an active participant in his Church-Bethel Temple and in his community). Bruce was born in Strathroy, April 13, 1940, son of the late Gordon GRUNDY and the late former Myrtle NOYES. Survived by Muriel PAYNE of Ailsa Craig and the late former James PAYNE. Much loved husband of 44 years of Doris (CLARK) GRUNDY. Much loved father, father-in-law and loving, proud grandfather of: Kim and Paul PERCY and their children: Nicole, Morgan and Blake of Grand Bend Cathy and Tim O'BRIEN and their children: Bridget and Meghan of Poplar Hill; Kevin and Angela GRUNDY and their children: Christina and Rebecca of Tillsonburg; Randy and Kelly GRUNDY and their children: Caitlin and Chelsea of Kingston; and Sonya GRUNDY and Jon GRANT of Brampton. Survived by two brothers: Rae GRUNDY and Allan GRUNDY and four sisters: Madalene BRANAN, Stella SHIEL, Leona OLDRIDGE, Gloria TOPPING. Predeceased by two grand_sons: Jonathan and Jesse GRUNDY; three sisters: Esther OLDRIDGE, Donna WEBSTER and Betty HOOPER and three brothers: Edwin, Bill and Robert GRUNDY. Friends and relatives are welcome to share memories and visit with the Grundy family on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg (519-842-4238). Visitation will again occur Tuesday 12: 30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Bethel Temple, 119 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg. Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Bruce GRUNDY is Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. at Bethel Temple by Rev. Johnathan TINLIN. Interment to follow in the Delmer Cemetery. Predeceased by his aunt Dorothy NOYES (1997) and his uncles William McDONALD (1996) and Nelson (1993) and Rudolph MOGK (1968.) Cousin of Violet SIEGNER; the late Mae WALDIE (2006;) William HEAGY Elizabeth PEEK; Alice WHITE/WHYTE; Muriel ANDREAE; Roger HEAGY; Cathy GIESBRECHT; Eleanor HEAGY; Heather ALBANESE; Peter NOYES; Jane NOYES; Chris, Kirk, Jay, and Brock McDONALD; Gwen BRODERICK Carol ESSEX; John, David and Ben BRADSHAW. Passed away peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home Hensall, Ontario on Thursday, May 11, 2006 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Shirley BREESE for 34 years. Loving father of Nickol (Bruce) NOYES, John THWAITES, Wanda THWAITES, Betty THWAITES and William THWAITES. Cherished grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of 3 sisters and 3 brothers. The family will receive Friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Monday, May 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Peacefully passed away at home in Oakville on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the age of 92. Survived by his wife Norma. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret Elinor (née HUGHES.) Dear father of Claire CHRISTO and Paula DIAMOND. Proud grandfather of Bonnie McCOY, Erin MacCOY and husband Steve NOYES, Michael DIAMOND and wife Nicole, and Kelly DIAMOND. Loving great grandfather of Kyle Jordan, Trinity and Brennen DIAMOND. John will be greatly missed by his extended family and Friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel & Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (403/Dundas) in Oakville, 905-257-8822 on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. (the family will receive Friends from 1-2). NOYLE, James Frederick
Of Sylvan Lake, passed away with his family by his side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, June 16, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Jim will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Joan; daughter Val (Laurence) HOUSEMAN and their children Jeremy (Kim) and Shannon (Jamie ORR) son James "Jim" (Diane) NOYLE and their children Elizabeth and Elliott; daughter Jennifer (Tom) ORMANDY and their children Ryan (Sandra) and Sean; daughter Janice (Bill) PHILLIPS and their children Tracey, Nichola (Stephen KENDAL) and Tanya (Bruce) D'ARCY sister Margaret; brother-in-law Bill CLARK and wife Jill and their family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and Friends. Jim was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. TALACH, Susan (née NOYLE)
A resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in her 55th year. Daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine (SKINNER) NOYLE and daughter-in-law of Mike and Valerie TALACH of Wallaceburg. Loving wife of Broni. Caring mother and mother-in-law of Mark TALACH of Waterloo, Jamie and Chris WEISHER of Listowel and Lindsey at home. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sharon and Gary SMITH of Wallaceburg. Step sister of Nickie and Phil KINNAMON of Oklahoma. Sue will be greatly missed by Jackie and Dan and her many nieces and nephews. Sue was a proud teacher of 32 years in the Wallaceburg Public School System, an avid curler, member of Special Education Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors for Community Living Wallaceburg and co-founder of F.R.I.E.N.D.S., a support group helping families of children with Down Syndrome. The family will receive relatives and Friends at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church on Saturday, September 30th, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. As Sue spent most of her career as a librarian and finished her career as a Special Education teacher, the family would like you to honour Sue's memory by not sending flowers, but rather by making donations to the Sue Talach Memorial Book Fund.
