NOGA, Henry
Peacefully, at Babcock Community Care, Wardsville on Tuesday, October 17th, 2006. Henry NOGA of R.R.#1 West Lorne in his 84th year. Henry was a long time farmer in the West Lorne area and served with the 8th Polish British Army during World War 2. Lovingly remembered by his wife Tina NOGA, son Henry of R.R.#1 West Lorne and daughter Mary TICKNER and her husband Jim of R.R.#1 Delhi. Dear grandfather of Jonathan and Cayley. Survived by his brother Ted and sisters Janina and Terenzia. Predeceased by 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Also survived by several nephews. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Thursday, October 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church, West Lorne on Friday at 11 a.m. Father J. KONIECZNY, C.R. celebrant. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery. Prayers will be offered in the Chapel on Thursday evening at 7: 30 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Babcock Community Care or Four Counties Health Services would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. WILLIAMS, Orvel Stanley
His devoted family sadly announces the death of Orvel, on January 28, 2006, at the age of 88. His beloved wife and close companion, Della (née FOURNIER) is left to mourn, together with their three loving daughters Karen (Paul DZATKO,) Shelley (Scott BARCLAY,) and Heather (Marko NOGA,) as well as "the apples of his eye," his adored and adoring grandchildren, Kyle and Jillian NOGA. Orvel was a Torontonian, born-and-bred, who recalled his life with his four siblings, raised by their deserted mother during the Dirty Thirties, when times were hard and people were poor. He originally taught himself to play the guitar, progressed to lessons and soon began to play professionally with small groups of musicians in gigs around the city and in cottage country during the summer months. Before his marriage, he worked at Massey Harris and then became the owner of the BA Gasoline Station at Queen and Gladstone from 1947 to 1953. Playing tennis kept him in good shape and together with Della, they were avid supporters of their local tennis club (Orchard Heights) and played for many years. In fact, Orvel played right up to the age of 86. He was a gentle man and gentleman, a family man who had a long and fulfilling life centering around his family and Friends, who now have many fond memories to sustain them in their sorrow. "And I love you so" A Memorial Gathering in celebration of Orvel's Life will be held at a future date at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga (905) 602-1580.

NOGUCHI, Shinkichi " Chuck"
After a lengthy illness, passed away quietly at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on April 24, 2006. Chuck, loving husband of 56 years to Yoshiko (Mitsuki) and dearly loved dad of Joy, George (Betty), Denise (David) and Ken (Michelle). Adored grandpa to Lisa, Sara and Kenneth. Dear brother of Kiichi, Yoshio, Kuni, Ayao, Seigo and their families. Deeply missed by the Mitsuki families and by many Friends. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation will be held at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (west of Warden) on Wednesday April 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private family service.
