as an active volunteer with the K-W Khaki Club, HASC, Model T
Ford Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530, Waterloo
Branch. Friends and relatives will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel
Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener for visitation
on Wednesday, December 27 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will
be conducted at the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday, December 28
at 1 p.m. Reception will follow in the Family Centre next to
the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, the family would
appreciate donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre

that we announce Brian's passing. He died peacefully, surrounded

the "King of Talk" and helped countless people avoid parking
fines and collections. His dry sarcasm drew many laughs and all
who knew him will remember his funny comments and quick wit.
Although never formally trained, Brian's culinary skills were
legendary and we will be forever experimenting to replicate his
famous Caesar salad dressing. Our sincerest thanks to the fabulous,
caring staff of Southlake Regional Hospital, especially, Sherri,
Shelly and Ruth, Dr.

2006 at Saint Michael's Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
During his long, wonderful life, he was the beloved husband for
forty-two years to the late Mary Theresa

Katie, Maureen, Darcy, Nathan, Deirdre, Peter, Travis, Joshua,
Brendan, Michelle, Matthew, Justin, Stefan, Nicholas and Emily
and great-grand_son Austin. Following Mary's death, Ray married
Margaret HARKINS, now deceased, and they enjoyed ten happy years
together. Ray was an enthusiastic and accomplished golfer throughout
his life. He like to tell his many Friends and colleagues that
he only golfed on days that end with the letter "y". Visitation
will be held at the "Scarborough Chapel" McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston
Road (east of St. Clair Avenue East), on Tuesday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface
R.C. Church (21 Markanna Drive). In lieu of flowers, donations
in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
