SCHNEIDER, Marion Helen (née HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON)
Passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the age of 77. Devoted wife of the late Willis (Porky) SCHNEIDER. Loving mother of Marie (Richard DETTMAN), Mark (Heather), Ellen (Erwin NIKEL), Todd (Nicole SMITH) and Kurt (Belinda.) Proud Grammy of Brandon, Colin, Vanessa, Eric, Reid and Quinn. Survived by brother George HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and his wife, Margaret, sisters-in-law Velma DALBY, Irma HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON, Elsie SCHNEIDER and brother-in-law, Dave MINIELLY. Predeceased by her parents, Cliff and Mamie (FORBES) HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON her siblings, Doris (HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON) Latimer BROWN, Jack HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and Norma (HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON) STYLES. Remembered by many in the K-W area as an active volunteer with the K-W Khaki Club, HASC, Model T Ford Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530, Waterloo Branch. Friends and relatives will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener for visitation on Wednesday, December 27 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday, December 28 at 1 p.m. Reception will follow in the Family Centre next to the funeral home. ALDRIDGE, Brian Edward
On January 20, 2006, aged 51 years. It is with great sadness that we announce Brian's passing. He died peacefully, surrounded by family and close Friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving mother, Nancy, (predeceased by his father, Ted) his beloved wife, Susan, his adored Bunny-Baby, Christine, special nephew, Morgan McGEE, Auntie Shirley, cousin Diane, parents-in-law, Paul and Olga SOPOCI, sisters-in-law, Ellen McGEE, Ollie PEHLEMANN (Mark,) Paulette SOPOCI and Dorie STEWARD/STEWART/STUART (Chris,) nephews and nieces, James, Ally, Curtis, Bennet, Abbey, Sophie and Graham, "Uncle" Ralphie and best friend, Harry MINAKER. Predeceased by brother-in-law, Kevin McGEE, his "partner-in-crime." Brian was the "King of Talk" and helped countless people avoid parking fines and collections. His dry sarcasm drew many laughs and all who knew him will remember his funny comments and quick wit. Although never formally trained, Brian's culinary skills were legendary and we will be forever experimenting to replicate his famous Caesar salad dressing. Our sincerest thanks to the fabulous, caring staff of Southlake Regional Hospital, especially, Sherri, Shelly and Ruth, Dr. NIKHAN, Dr. WEINGARTEN and Dr. MANN. Family will greet Friends at the Thompson Funeral Home, 29 Victoria Street, Aurora on Monday, January 23 from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. On Tuesday, January 24, family will greet Friends at 1: 00 p.m., at the Aurora United Church, 15186 Yonge Street, Aurora, prior to a 2: 00 p.m. celebration of Brian's life. Reception to follow. Hawaiian shirts and colorful clothes required! In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Liver Foundation. Brian, we'll miss your great hugs! After a lengthy illness at Regional Mental Health Centre, London, on Friday, May 12, 2006, James GRAY/GREY, beloved husband of the late Rose Martha GRAY/GREY (1994,) in his 80th year. Beloved father of Rosemary LAVORATORE (Bruno), Aidan GRAY/GREY, Denis GRAY/GREY (Anne NIKKEL) and Peter GRAY/GREY. Predeceased by his daughter Dolores GRAY/GREY. Dear grandfather of Marisa and Sara LAVORATORE and Nicholas GRAY/GREY. There will be no funeral home visitation. Funeral Mass at Saint Michael's Church, 515 Cheapside Street, London on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. MORRIS, Joseph Raymond
Born in Toronto eighty years ago, Ray died peacefully on April 2, 2006 at Saint Michael's Hospital after a short battle with cancer. During his long, wonderful life, he was the beloved husband for forty-two years to the late Mary Theresa CAHILL and loving father to Terry NIKKEL (Milton), John, Marian McTEER (Bill), Neil, Gerald (Gale), Cathy (deceased in 1980), Michael (Vickie) and Patti DENNISON (Gary.) He was the proud grandfather of fifteen grandchildren Katie, Maureen, Darcy, Nathan, Deirdre, Peter, Travis, Joshua, Brendan, Michelle, Matthew, Justin, Stefan, Nicholas and Emily and great-grand_son Austin. Following Mary's death, Ray married Margaret HARKINS, now deceased, and they enjoyed ten happy years together. Ray was an enthusiastic and accomplished golfer throughout his life. He like to tell his many Friends and colleagues that he only golfed on days that end with the letter "y". Visitation will be held at the "Scarborough Chapel" McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (east of St. Clair Avenue East), on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface R.C. Church (21 Markanna Drive). In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
