Peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home in London Stewart NETHERCOTT of Dorchester passed away on Friday, April 7, 2006 with his family by his side, just prior to his 77th birthday. Beloved husband of Ruth (née KELLY) for almost 59 years. He will be sadly missed by his children Janet RASTIN (Jerry) of Mount Brydges, Edwin (Marie) of Exeter, Gary (Kim) and Dale (Karen) all of Dorchester and Dan (Sue) of London. Loving grandfather of Chris and Sandra RASTIN and Doug, Wayne, Tim, Melinda, Matthew, Jason, Joe, Allen, Jeff, Melissa and Brandon NETHERCOTT and nine great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Charles of Minnesata, Murray (Marilyn) of Woodstock, Frank (Gladi) of Florida and Alma STONE (George) of Peterborough and predeceased by a brother Harold and his parents Wilfred and Carrie NETHERCOTT. Also survived by a sister-in-law Marie NETHERCOTT of Tillsonburg. Stewart was born and raised in Clear Creek, Ontario and moved to Mt. Elgin. He eventually settled in Dorchester and started his own excavating company. In 1980 he had a serious workplace accident and became a quadriplegic. Of Oakville, Ontario Beloved wife of Howard H. STENSSON and mother of William S. STENSSON (Jennifer), Gay E. HADDON (Michael), and Janice A. FOZARD (Allan.) Also survived by ten grandchildren Erik, Anna, Jane and Brita STENSSON; Brooke and Matthew HADDON Christopher, Andrea, Sally FOZARD, and Danica JEFFERY. Maurine was predeceased by her older brother, Glenwood NETHERCOTT (2002,) sister-in-law Eva, and is survived by several nieces and nephews in Brantford and Trois-Rivières. Maurine was the daughter of the late G. William and F. Pearl NETHERCOTT of Norwich, Ontario. Maurine took her elementary and High School education in Norwich. She worked for several years at "Stelco" in Hamilton. Maurine was an accomplished singer, and sang for many years in the Norwich and Maple Grove United Church Choirs. Maurine was very proud of her early heritage through the Nethercott, Ronson, McWebb and Smith "clans." Thank you to the nursing staff of "4 west," Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their kind and gentle care on Mom's last night. Grandmother of David, Jennifer and Christopher LEWIS, Christina and Michael LEWIS and Ted and Lauren BROWNE and proud great-grandmother of 8. Predeceased by her brother Jack and sisters Fran and Ruth. Loving aunt of Peter NETTELFIELD, Bill and John TRAINOR and Heather BEAUDOIN. Kay was a wonderful mother who did an amazing job of raising her children. She was a keen sportswoman who was an avid curler and golfer. A master at bridge, she was always keen to have a game of some sort before and after dinner. She loved her extended family and will be missed by them all. A private memorial service will be held. Marjorie was second oldest, and only surviving child, of the late Henry and Charlotte SAYER, having been predeceased by her brother Leslie, and sisters Hazel BRIDGE and Isobel McCANN. Marjorie was also predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, William (Bill) and by her son-in-law Wayne NETTIE. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Sylvia NETTIE, son Mark, and daughter-in-law Christine, grandchildren Scott Nettie, John BAIGRIE, Sharon BAIGRIE and step-granddaughter Debbie IVICZ, great-grandchildren Jessica BAIGRIE, Charlotte NETTIE, and Malcolm NETTIE.
