MUSCAT, Emmanuele Richard " Emy"
Passed away peacefully in his 84th year, on Saturday October 7, 2006 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe. Emy was born in Malta on January 17, 1923 and arrived in Saint Thomas in 1948. Beloved husband of Hélène of Long Point and father of Marietta of Edmonton and Brian and his wife Teresa of Saint Thomas. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Dawn, and Megan MUSCAT and Justin, Joshua and Kyle GROSS. Survived by brother George and his wife Mary of Cherry Hill, New Jersey and by his numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marietta and Carmelo MUSCAT, sisters Connie VAN HORNE, Eva WRIGHT and Stella MUSCAT and brothers John and Alfred. It was Emy's wish that there be no funeral service. A Celebration of Emmy's life will be held on Sunday October 15, 2006 from 4: 00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Saint Thomas Centennial Sports Club, 41 Jonas Street. Mrs. Lucy BOZEC (née MUSCAT) passed away peacefully with family at her side on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Her memory will be cherished by her family, son Jason and wife Megan and their son Kaden and daughter Cassandra daughter-in-law Karen and her daughters Paige and Sydney; and husband Eric. She will also be lovingly remembered by siblings, Jessie, Georgina, Catherine, Joe, Savior, Grezio, Philip, Charlie and all in-laws. Predeceased by her son Ian in 2002. Lucy will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and Friends whose lives she touched deeply. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church in Oak Ridges. She will be cherished by her dear children Grazia and Francesco (Elizabeth.) Survived by her parents Riccardo and Maria VUCOSSA. Luciana will always be remembered by her sisters, Liliana (Joe ALFANO,) Sonia, and her brother Armando. Dear sister-in-law of Caterina (Filippo PULITANO,) Teresa (Domenico SALADINO,) Carmela (Carlo MUSCATELLO), Anna Maria (Frank NOCERA), and brother-in-law to Rosario (Stella) MUSCATELLO. He will be sadly missed by his children Jullianna, Steven, Tereasa, and Giovanni "Johnny" MUSCEDERE all of Chatham and Angelina MUSCEDERE of Toronto, 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Anasia and Julina, a sister Lucia SANTORO of Windsor, a brother Cesidio "Joe" of Michigan and a fiancée Norine LEE of Toronto. Of Saint Thomas, on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at the Londod Health Sciences Centre (University Hospital), as the result of a motor vehicle accident, in her 64th year. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Stirling BROOKS and loved mother of Shelly and her husband Ted STURK of Saint Thomas, Sue and husband Neal MUSCHETT of Oakville and John BROOKS and his wife Rebekah WYMENGA of Saint Thomas and special friend and mentor of Michelle TERRY- NELSON of Saint Thomas. Dear sister of Linda WATSON- KAUFMAN and her husband Gregg of Georgia and Lois and her husband Ron HALL of Hamilton. Deeply loved grandmother of Clayton and Nicholas, Gregory, Katherine, Parker and Serenity. Sadly missed by 2 nephews and 1 niece. Joanne was born in Saint Thomas on August 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Earl and Faye (PRIDDLE) WATSON of Saint Thomas. She lived most of her life in Saint Thomas and was active in her community throughout her life. Joanne worked for Saint Thomas Ford and formerly owned and operated Joanne's Beauty Shop and the Bambi Shop. She was a former Mayor and Alderman for the City of Saint Thomas and sat on the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Board, was a founder and President of Christmas Care, President of Beta Sigma Phi, Board member of the Trillium Foundation, a member of First United Church and numerous other community organizations. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Thursday afternoon and then to First United Church where a service to celebrate Joanne's life will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Joanne Brooks Community Charity Foundation.

Dear twin sister of Ljubica (Beba) and her husband Mirko TURAJLICH, and Marija (Maca) and her husband Milos KRIVOKUCA. Seka is also survived by nephews Mark and Mikey and nieces Sonja and her husband Christopher DUSSIAUME and their daughter Christina and Vedrana VISNJIC and her family in Kelowna, British Columbia. Passed away peacefully, after a heroic battle, on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at St. Michael's Hospital, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Loving mother of Lynn PATRY (Terry CLARKE), Donna CURTIS, Charlene FERGUSON (Phil), Ruth SOUTHWELL (Gerry,) Michael CURTIS (Christine LEFEBVRE,) and Lance CURTIS (Josée). Devoted grandmother of fifteen and great-grandmother of four. Jacqueline is also survived by her sister Marie DUNN and her brother Ray TREMBLAY. A special thank you to Dr. MUSTARD, the nurses, the R.T.'s and the physiotherapists from 16 North at St. Michael's Hospital and her special friend Loris. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 78 Clifton Road. A reception will follow in the Leaside Room of the funeral home.
